After waiting patiently for around 57 months, today I got PPR. They asked me to send PPs, updated information chart and photos. However, I noticed that in updated information chart instead of my application number it says <<Application_Num>> ..Also, in ECAS the status is still In Process.

is it normal?

Dear No problem, just update it as they request,and don't leave gaps in time, scan it and send it

I had the same update since age of 18 , i scanned, send and received MR in the same day

Hi Friends,

When I applied for FSWP2013 fund requirement was 13837$ for 2 people.
Now I got PR and planning to land but on CIC website it shows 14853$.

So how much i have to bring with me 13837$ or 14853$??

I have Fix deposit in India, can I show that document as landing fund. Basically I am in UK and going for short landing. So I am trying to find cheap way to show the landing fund and bring it back to UK.

Can I bring Cheque or Draft in pounds??

I guess it should be 14853$ as the living expense has gone up in the past couple of years.
Have you booked flights yet?
I am also in the same situation. I was thinking to carry 5000 CAD cash/bank draft and i will show the remaining as bank statement from natwest/Barclays from uk british pound. I will also carry my bank card to show that i will withdraw money using my card. Also carrying huge amount of money in one go is a risk which they will understand..

My Meds were uploaded on 20th February, got 3rd line on 23rd Feb. It took only 1 day for me.

U need to put ur application number there by ur self and ECAS will change in few days

Its a good sign
It means LVO has started processing your application
There is nothing to be worried with this request as this is probably the most common document request from LVO
Probable cause can be either u missed some gaps in your background information or you didn't provide them the detail since age of 18

It took 20 days for me to get the passports back from adudhabi ...so just wait and see

The visa is valid for 1 year from the date of your medicals or the expiration of your passport, whichever comes first. So if your passport will soon expire and you do not want to travel immediately, it is advisable you renew your passport and submit the new one for stamping.

I have just received an email from LVO to update Schedule A/Background Form and send them with in 15 days.I have following queries.

My spouse has joined a government job after I send application to CIO , Should I also send her Joining letter to LVO?
Shoul I scanned the SchA form and send them through email or should i courier .please advice on urgent basis.
Please give me the link of updated Sch A form.

Lastly, when should I expect MR?after sending the SchA form.

Stamping and processing are different things. Processing of FSW applications for gcc and pakistan happens in London, but for gcc the applicants are directed to send their passports to abu dhabi for visa stamping. Pakistanis may request for their visa to be stamped in islamabad as well. The visa stamping in Abu Dhabi is clearly mentioned in the passport request email:

Is it possible to deliver passports to Abudhabi VO in person... We are staying in Muscat, Oman.. If we go to Abudhabi and stay there for 2 or 3 days in Hotel and during this time, will it possible to get visa stamped??? Just asking out of curiosity...
