Who is your VO?

I received same reply from my VO: "RIH"...

Who is your's?

If its not RIH then i think these are pre-drafted replies with all VO's...

The email and attached letter has no signature that "kind regards"

I also received same email today and have similar confusion. (App date: 10/8/14.... PER: 1/15/2015)
Also what this photo request indicates?
Should we consider that processing is started at VO?
Process will be on-hold till they receive new photos?

Seniors, Please guide.
seniors,,,,,,, we are waiting for your help :D

I dont see that photos for children were not acceptable and more likely option 2 that our photos were 6 months old by the time LVO received them.

New Photo Requests:

As far as I know, the specifications of the photograph hasn't changed since our application (ie since 2013). So why is LVO requesting for new photographs?

Some explanations:

1. I think they are requesting photographs from those applicants who have children listed in their application. As we know the facial features of children changes very quickly. If this is true only applicants with children will get photo requests. But again, i dont see any point in LVO requesting photographs for every family member, they could request only the children's photographs.

2. It is possible that VO wants the photo to be 6 months or less in age for all applicants. If this is the case, then all the applicants whose applications are 6 months or more will get photo request. This is most likely the case.

3. ............ (dont know)... what you guys think?

In my case both 1 and 2 applies..

Hi,

I just paid RPRF fee online with a CC but it did not ask me my application number or UCI ... is it normal or have i made a blunder ?

It is normal. you write your uci number at the client id section of the receipt and will then send it to cic

Dear friends and seniors

today I got the usual email from LVO asking for new photographs submission :-X, I got confused,,, letter is asking for 4 however the specifications link mentioned 2
looking for your kind support

1- how many should I submit 4 or 2
2- how many should left blank and how many should include photographer details and my name
3- to which address should I send these photographs and should I mention my UCI on the envelope

looking for your kind support especially those who had same request and already submitted it then got positive response

Regards

Please do as the letter say.. I guess, the the link is for PR card photos that you apply when you land in which you write the name of the studio, date of photo and your name. The specification of the photo is the same for PR cards and visa office requests..

In my case the visa officer asked me to write only the name of the person on the photo and application number. If you can fit the name of the studio and date of the photo, include those as well.

If you are unsure send two additional photos blank..

Send these documnets to:

Immigration and Medical Services Division
Canadian High Commission
Canada House
Trafalgar Square
London - SW1Y 5BJ
United Kingdom

PS: they don't print your photo in the visa (so i guess they dont scan photos).. they paste one photo on the COPR document..

i suggest that you send them the scanned cop and mention " please find attached scanned copies of the PCCs sent with the application, however i'll request issuance of new PCCs and send it to the via office"

if he is ok with the scanned ones, he will reply to you, if he did not reply, it will not harm to issue new ones and send them to him ( soft and hard copies )

this is only my opinion

good luck

thats what i did. hopefully it goes through.
