I am July 3rd applicant and received PER on 28th October and waiting for second line on ECAS or MR/PCC request from LVO.
It's 90 days complete today but no update, I guess they have not started processing July applications yet but It may be possible they are processing them on back side and not updating at all. I am also confused whether to request GCMS or not. I am going to give this week and end of next week and if I don't here anything by 8th feb than I will apply for GCMS.

Guys, I am May 7, 2014 applicant and got PER on Aug 7, its almost 6 months since PER and no second line or MR yet. However, I sent my updated docs for renewal of passport and police certificates on Nov 18, 2014 and the same had been updated by LVO on same day as stated in our GCMS notes.

Its really pathetic that VOs are not following first come basis, which affecting old apps. There should not be having priorities to particular NOCs where they already made eligible to all the NOCs for FSW or they should not open the files of Jun-July onward apps when they have a backlog of earlier apps for same FSW program nor they should not priorities over country of residence. Ppl saying more jobs switching or no. of travelling or no. of dependent delay the app, but specifically in my case all of three of them nothing volumetric info....

Any comment to cool down my nerves or wait with more patience. Kindly do not refer FSW 2013 apps......

hold on tight, there are many others awaiting good news.

my opinion and observation: u should have hired a consultant, that would have 97% speed up process for ur app and saved the delay u r facing.

I'm residing in UAE and case is with LVO. I have submitted PR Fees and Medical on 27th Jan. Considering this, please respond on following queries (based on best judgement/facts):

1) When should I expect Passport request?

2) Will I send passport to Abu Dhabi or London and How?

3) How many days will be given to me for passport submission?

4) When I will be getting it back?

5) I have to attend brother wedding with family in Pakistan and want to be there for whole month of April. Is it possible to request LVO to send me Passport request after that period? Is there any procedure to extend / delay passport request?

Dear All,

I just received email from LVO to fill the updated information chart. Is it PPR1?

Moreover, they have asked for the scan copies of passports of myself and each family member. But they also mentioned that

"the passport we have on file for your spouse will expire at the end of this year. She will require a renewed passport for travel".

The passport of my wife will be expiring in October 2015.

Do we have to apply for the passport and later send the updated information chart with new passport details?

OR

Do we have to send the information details with the old passport and then apply for the new passport?

Can anyone guide me what should I do?

Argh! Even though mine was expiring even earlier they didn't say this in my email! Now I had to renew after sending them the copies and now that I have got a positive decision and a PPR2, the passport is diff. Looks like I need to go thru the whole process again. Screw it.

Ans: We cannot predict LVO's working however, as per trend, could be anytime between 1 week to 2/3 months..Few got it in a months time also.

2) Will I send passport to Abu Dhabi or London and How?
Ans: LVO will advice you on where to send passport for stamping, ideally to Abu Dhabi for UAE residents.

3) How many days will be given to me for passport submission?
Ans: Could be 15 days - 1 month

4) When I will be getting it back?
Ans: Again, that depends on the workload of the visa office.

5) I have to attend brother wedding with family in Pakistan and want to be there for whole month of April. Is it possible to request LVO to send me Passport request after that period? Is there any procedure to extend / delay passport request?
Ans: My personal opinion, is to follow and complete the stamping procedure asap you get it, however you would get buffer time to plan your travel and submit passports for stamping incase you are in Pakistan at the time of receiving pp request

Don't worry about the PCC. If the VO is not happy with the PCC they will ask you to furnish one. They will also give you 30-60 days to get one.

Regarding point#5 - do you mean I should wait until I get the request and then inform to LVO in case if I am in Pakistan at that time?

Secondly, is that possible to submit my passport to Abu Dhabi and family passports to Islamabad OR all passports must be submitted at one place?
