Any insight on whether the MR is sent after the background check is done or while it is in process?

Also, London VO sends only PPR1 and other documents request to few applicants and MR, RPRF with PPR1 to few others. Any guesses on the basis why this distinction is made?

LVO has asked me to send copy of UAE visa and Job Contract. But problem is that my company gave me visa for sales executive instead of computer engr to speed up the processing as sales visas are very easy to get. i have now asked them to change my profession on visa and they applied for it but it will take much time to process as it require my degrees attested from Ministry of education of UAE which is a long and expensive process. Now what Should i do?

I am thinking to ask company to write one explanation letter on company letter head to explain that i am working in IT profession but due to some problems and speed up visa processing they pasted my visa for sales executive.

Please give suggestions.

Some one told me (immigration consultant) that it doesnt make any difference. occupation mentioned on visa sticker is not a verfiable source to confirm your occupation but it is your salary slips, and experience letter etc. Visa office ask copy of residence visa to confirm your residence. But since they have asked you UAE visa and also Job contract then i suspect that there is a co-relation. I think asking company to write one explanation letter head to explain your occupation in IT profession is a better idea and mean time you can proceed with change of occupation in visa sticker.

Every visa officer has his own way of processing applications. Generally background checks are done before issuance of MR

Explain all this in your cover letter to LVO , and attach your appointment letter , correspondence from company showing your designation etc

I also have the same case-visa job title is not related to my real job title. ECAS 2nd line updated yesterday into 'processing', however, not yet heard from LVO if they require more information or documentation. I look forward to someone answering your query.

Hi,

Thank you for your positive response. This indicatesm my 3rd line ecas update would be on 28th dec as my medical was done on 14th dec. As per hospital they have uploaded reports on 17th dec.

LDVO is officially closed on Christmas Day (25th), Boxing Day (26) and 1st Jan 2015 (New year). Although its not confirm but i think on Wednesday (24th) they might be open until mid day (This is usual trend in UK, I am not sure if LDVO follows that for closing half day in 24th)

I am not sure about LVO but almost most of the UK is off already for holidays, as I have been dealing with many OEM and vendors who belongs to UK, they confirmed they are having their holidays starting from tomorrow, so I guess, the last week of December is going to be off.

Received my PR card by Post on Monday 22/12/2014( though a bit delayed due to Christmas post)

Ecas now say COMPLETE
