Update from my side,

1- My newborn son added in my file.
2- Got RPR fee and submitted online, got acknowledgement from VO.
3- Got Medical Request for all 3 family members.

How i know my file is updated with new information provided.

Do visa office send any acknowledgment ...... Huh

My newborn's documents were received at LVO on 25th November. Still no update from them. Keep praying

Its just an auto confirmation email to confirm that they have rcvd your email. Its always written in it that they will reply within 28 days. They usually reply within a week or less and oftenly in 28 days. Dont wait for their reply and start gathering the documents of new born like her Birth certificate, passport copy, photos, 150 cad processing fee,IMM0008ENU_2D form and additional family information form IMM 5406 for you and your spouse, updated proof of funds (may be) and proof of your residential status in UK. Please refer to the email I posted here on previous correspondence. If you are confused let me know or PM me, but dont wait for their reply. Gather documents to avoid any delay or rejection.

Whilst browsing for the deadline for providing additional docs/fees for the new born I have read somehwere that it is 45 days which in my case would be comng monday. However, that may differ from country to country as you said it was 60 days in your case. I will have everything ready by tomorrow but I understand they are not open on Monday so not sure how serious is this. Any thoughts? cheers

hi navali...we r moving in January from uae to Canada..insha Allah
we have accounts in adcb but will probably make the drafts through uae exchange for better exchange rates...you may do the same...
my parents have been sending drafts to usa and Canada from uae exchange and it works fine...

Hi Maria, thanks for your response. If you are a preferred account holder with ADCB, you will get much better rate from them as compared to UAE exchange...i already checked...the only concern is timing to encash this draft...

As you said, your parents send drafts to USA and Canada... Do u have any idea how long does it take for this draft to be encashed... Specially in Canada...

a friend of mine got from HSBC Dubai and deposited it in TD Canada and got encashed in 3 days... Another friend got from ADCB and deposited in Scotia and it took 4 weeks....weired!!!!!!!
