Any advice whether to pay the RPR fee online or through dd?

I am not sure whether they are encouraging to pay the fee online or by any other method. Does LVO accept RPR fee online?

LVO accepts online fee payment. You just need to print, fill and sign the receipt and send them.

One more query

I have receiver PER on November 11, 2014 (July 16 applicant). My passport will expire in March 2015. I am expecting medical request by Jan 11, 2014. I may renew the passport before i get the MR.

My quesries are:

1. Should i apply now for passport renewal or after MR?
2. Do i need to inform CIC / VO or to both?
3. If i do need to inform both, form of communication should be post / email / both?
4. Will require addresses (postal/email/both) too pls? if i do need to inform them

I received my PER email on Nov 11, 2014 (July 16 applicant). When i checked my application status on CIC website, it shows as "in process". When i further click the link, it shows that "We received your application for permanent residence on July 16, 2014". When i checked the "in process" status table on CIC website, it comes after "visa office eligibilty review complete" tab.

Does this mean the my relevant VO process is over and now i should expect for medicals or VO will still do some background checks and may require some clarfication / documents or may call for interview even?

now your application is sent to your visa office and vo will assign your application to a visa officer, this visa officer will review your application on the base of local circumstances and knowledge, if your visa officer is satisfied with your documentation he will request for MR or otherwise he will request for additional dox or verifications or interview

Although I received MR & RPRF today, my ECAS still shows "In Process". No update yet on the ECAS after PER.

but slight modification;
when u get 2nd line update it means the DRACULA visa officer has now grabbed ur neck and when u receive PPR1 it means that ur neck is finally released by the DRACULA visa officer 8)

On the CSE page there's an option of File # ; is it the same what we get as the Application # in the PER email or the File # is something different that one gets later after PER?

Hello Everyone.

Today, I received another email from CIC London.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

We are now ready to issue your permanent residence visas. Please find a letter attached with full instructions on how to submit the required documentation.

We look forward to receiving the documents and passports within 30 days of the date of this email.

So, I believe this is PPR2 now. In an attachment, they are asking for:

i) original passports
ii) 2x passport sized photos with white background
iii) Updated Information Chart.
