I have two lines in my ecas status:

1.We received your application for permanent residence on June 4, 2013.

2.We started processing your application on June 24, 2014.

Just to let you know we are applying from the UK also (visa exempt), did medicals on the 22nd July, ECAS was updated to medicals received on the 30th July. DD was cashed on the 24th July, but haven't received anything since.

Have just e-mailed LVO directly, asking them what are the next steps of the application process, hoping that will prompt them to send us PPR :)

Hi, I have just this second emailed London too.

I know of a couple of people on another forum who got medicals received and decision made within days of each other and then COPR documents a week or two later.
Before my husband found this job I was being quite patient but now i'm constantly checking email and ecas, its driving me mad. Really don't want him to miss out on this job opportunity. I will keep you posted on any updates , our dates are pretty similar.

Many Thanks

Congratulations to all with updates of visa and MR and wish those applicants still waiting good luck.

I landed in Edmonton yesterday and completed the landing formalities within 10mins. It was smooth, no hassles at all. The immigration lady at the border post told me to expect my PR card within 4 to 8 weeks and that if I want to travel before I get my PR card, I could but would need to apply for visa to return to Canada. At the end, it was the usual "welcome to Canada".

Dear Sir,

I am glad that you had a very smooth landing in Canada, i wish you good luck for your future life.

I am also planning to land in Edmonton, tough i am still waiting for my MR and RPRF, i hope i will get it in the next upcoming days.

I would like to request you to please share your experience of Edmonton, like living costs, house rent, job opportunities, and all other information you think is important to know. I am sure your valuable information will be very helpful to all those who are planning to land in Edmonton.

Looking forward to hear from you soon.

Regards.

Dear mates,

I have been asked to provide another police clearance certificate and this one is from Russia based on the updated scheduale a and my stay was only for 5 months. The problem that I was given only 30 days to submit it which is almost impossible, the consulate said up to 6 months and the legal company at least 2 months.. any idea if they will accept to extend if i requested an extension?? and when should i ask for extension shall i do it immediately?

Their Email was a depressing surprise after all of this effort
