Finally I received PPR-1. I've a query

In their instructions they mentioned "all passports should be valid for at least 12 months from the date of your medical examinations". In my case my & my spouse's passports have validity of 9-10 months.

Should I send the existing passports & get new passports issued before sending.

Thanks, yes sending hard copies seems better option.

I sent them hard copies through courier and I recommend that. It only takes 3-4 days.

You can send scanned copy of completely filled forms via email. I always did the same.

All those mates who have submitted the updated documents on LVO request, Did you send the duly signed hard copies of Schedule A and IMM5406 forms via courier to LVO or attached the scanned copies and sent via email ? Can we email them to save time instead of sending the hard copies via courier ?

We have received our passports+visas today. We also got confirmation of permanent residence papers. However, on my confirmation of permanent residence, there is a typo. In my marital status, they have written "single" even though I am married. On the very same form, at the bottom, they have written my wife's name as accompanying spouse.

Is this a major issue? Should I ask them to correct this? The problem is that I was planning to leave in two weeks.

Are you sending updated information/forms on your own or LVO asked for it? By the way, LVO is giving option to send scanned copies of completely filled forms via email.

I have sent scanned copies of updated forms two times via email on my own and two times on the request of LVO (first time scanned copies of updated schedule A Forms with MR and second time scanned copies of passports against PPR1). Every time it worked perfect.

Anyways, do whatever your heart says.

You can send these one also , if you wish to get them renewed it will be better
