Congratulations Hila01 on receiving third line and good luck for speedy PPR.

Thanks a lot Abu. Good luck too.

Freddy2147,

PR application is closed upon landing of the applicant. Therefore an applicant can withdraw his/her application, add or remove a family member at anytime before landing. PR visa contains the information that how many total members are there and how many will be moving to Canada etc. If an applicant wants to add spouse or child after issuance of PR visa but before landing, then all PR visas issued earlier must be cancelled and new PR visas must be issued to reflect the final information.

But if Principal applicants want to bring spouse to Canada as a PR after landing, then he/she will have to open new file to sponsor his/her spouse. The timeline of sponsorship is totally different and may become headache due to long delays in some cases. Obviously, until sponsorship application is successful, spouse will have to stay on visit visa as per the applicable rules.

Thanks Abu hassan, but I got different answer from Maria, so which one is correct
1. Can we add spouse after issuance of visa and before landing and existing visa will be canelled and new visas will be issued to both together
2. The only option left after getting visa is to apply visa for ur spouse visa which will take 3-5 years

there is no fee

Hila01,

Applicant won't have to pay CAD 490 RPRF again on re-issuance of PR visa but there might be a very nominal fee which I don't know.

Dear Masshunter,

I also didnt receive RPRF, how did you manage to get this email, what exactly you have written on CSE, did you send the CSE online or to any email address? Please also guide me, my medicals are next week in Karachi IOM. how was your medical is it a long process. I am little confused as I am taking blood pressure medicine. should I mention this to Doctor or not?

Waiting for your reply

Even if you didn't receive RPRF request, you can pay it online proactively by credit card then take printout of the receipt, fill your details on it, scan it and send it to LVO by email. They will acknowledge it.

I paid it online without LVO requesting it and they acknowledged the receipt of fees after 12 hours.

P.S. receipt is emailed as pdf attachment after payment to the provided email id.

Waiting is killing now... 2 months passed since we did our medicals...
any rough idea when should i expect to ease waiting...

Hello Guys,

Last Friday, I received an email asking me that they require the following additional documents: Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF), updated Schedule A (background) forms and I must do my medical examination within 60 days. Any idea if payment can be made online?

Also, do you think it is going to take much time and more background checks before we get to the end of this?

I anticipate your response.

Best regards,
Noble

I have just got my bank draft back ready to send to LVO in payment of RPRF.

Do I need to write anything on the back of it before I send it. My email from LVO doesn't state anything but the website says write name & address.

What has everyone done?

Thanks in advance.
