QUESTION:

For those who were interviewed, is it a standard that they give one month notice prior to the interview date?

it depends... if you need to travel from an other country for the interview then they give even more time....

lolz...............Lets find similarity in our case to get some idea of being thrown in LBM Shut up call club ;)

Our NOC is difference, mine 3216, July applicant, SINGLE- UN-MARRIED, Pakistani, but born in UAE. Graduation from Pakistan, self calculated Point is 67. No travel history except UAE & Pakistan.

Any resemblance ?

Yes dear, Pakistani & 67 points. (Self calculated points were 72 they evaluated as 67)
You can make more resemblance by getting married......ha ha ha ha, seems that VOs are more cruel to unmarried ones :o ;)

Hello Friends,

Hope you all are doing well. I saw follow section in my PPR 1:

What you should know
 You should not take any irrevocable action such as selling your property, quitting your job, or buying plane tickets until you have received your passport(s) and permanent resident visa(s).

Does this means that there is still possible of rejection. I know it is stupid question but it is really difficult waiting as i have left my Job when i received medical due to visa and Police Certificate issues. Now i received very good Job opportunity in Saudi Arab but do not know what to do as my first priority is to travel Canada as soon as i got the visa stamped.

Leave all the worries behind and start planning for your new chapter of life, which is just around the corner.

This is just a political statement, which every company follow to safeguard themselves legally.

It simply means you should not do anything as in some cases if takes some time then you should not sue them for this delay and if you are unemployed for certain amount of time due too this they have mentioned all this.
