Dear forum members please guide.............

The email has only one form attached, "IMM1017", which is the medical form with bio data and other relevant information. Should I expect to receive another email from my VO stating any further instructions or should i proceed to the medicals directly.

This is it. Relax and book an appointment :) This is the only form that is required to undergo Medicals.

Masshunter,
You may have recvd this email from 'Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca', please note you shall receive another email from 'LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca'.
Meanwhile you can just take the printout of attached pdf and complete your medicals.

Yash

I was also asked for updated PCC along with Schedule A form therefore had to send it by courier. My VO is MCH.

Can you tell when did you get the email for updated PCC and did they acknowledge receipt of documents ?

I got my Saudi PCC all in Arabic except a stamp showing, 'NO CRIMINAL RECORD' in English. Rest of all is Arabic.

I got it translated to English. Do I need to do MOFA also after translation?

Please suggest.

Yes. I got mine stamped by MOFA even before doing the translation. Please go for MOFA quickly before submission to LVO. It would only pay same amount you spent when stamping the embassy PCC request letter.

Translation is attested by the translator himself. MoFA stamp is not needed.

I submitted the PCC at the interview. The interviewer examined it, said he was satisfied and returned it to me.

I did MOFA on my PCC not on the attested translation. I think some other guys did MOFA also on their PCC before submission. We just want to be careful not to give any room for the LVO to delay our application further. We are already tired of the delays in our application processing.

I think there is some confusion as to the process. Here is how it went for me.

1. I got PCC REQUEST LETTERS from Abu Dhabi Visa Office via courier. These letters are in Arabic.

2. I completed the PCC REQUEST LETTERS in Arabic, basically filled in the missing details which were my name, date of birth, passport number, etc.

3. I took the COMPLETED PCC REQUEST LETTERS to MoFA. MoFA stamped the letters.

4. I took the STAMPED COMPLETED PCC REQUEST LETTERS to the Forensics Department of Riyadh Police. They fingerprinted me and told me the report will be ready in one week.

5. A week later I picked up the POLICE REPORT from the same place. It was in Arabic.

6. I got the POLICE REPORT to a translator. The translator attached the translation to the original POLICE REPORT, stapled them with a special stapling machine.

This translation was accepted by LVO. A number of my friends have followed the same process.

It varies by case to case. I know one of my friends who go medical request after 3 months the second line was added. I know another one who got in couple of weeks. :-) I am also waiting for the MR as second line was added more than a month ago. Thanks.
