London Visa Office

Not yet received any confirmation from LVO (will wait at least a week or so). But I do not see how they can refuse it. The CIC website is quite clear in stating that I can pay either online or at an overseas office. If there is a change in method, they need to modify the website. anyway, the link is below if anyone is wondering:

I was less brave, and have ordered a Canadian Dollar Draft. This is the phrase that stopped me:
"you must print a receipt of payment and include it with your paper application"

including with our application would have been somewhat easier back in May 2013

By the way - anyone hoping to use HSBC UK to get the bank draft might want to choose another bank, as my branch said they stopped doing Canadian drafts 3 months ago.

Get ready and reach to office........... ;D.......with feeling that PPR would come today (may be/ no / may be / yes)..
In office, keep waiting for 12:00 noon (Pakistan time, as at 12 here LVO turns on)...... ..
From 12:00 to 5:00.......... keep watching mail account (may be PPR have arrived)...but at 5:00pm.....LVO says
At home............... PPR would come tomorrow.........InShaAllah
At bed time............pray to God, that PPR would come tomorrow... ;D ;D ;D

Soon we'd hear PPR. InShaAllah.

Believe me, once you will get MR, you would have really fast track of processing - coz all of BG security clearance would have already been done............

From whom you got the emails for Passport and RPRF request..i mean what was the name signature of ur visa officer?

A not so positive reply from my inquiry few days ago.

"Your application is currently awaiting review. We will contact you again as soon as we are able to, however, you should note this may not be for some time yet.

You need take no further action at this time."

I also received exactly same reply from LVO, 10 days back

My NOC Is least popular (NOC 3216) but surprised to know that you got same reply, although your NOC is popular . Our timeline matches a bit (1 week difference only).

I seriously don't know what is their criteria. This is truly disappointing, don't know for how long we will have to wait, & why we have been put on this Long wait ( you should note this may not be for some time yet.( Atleast we deserve to know why they have put us on unlimited long wait and WHY ?

I observed NDVO was following as per application receiving dates & only particular NOC's were put on hold for a while for some checks. But to LVO, pathway is totally blind and we have been put on mercy of LVO Totally with unknown criteria , unknown priorities & unknown timeline, unknown processing time for FSW 2013

Congrats Ahmed. When did LVO receive your PP?

As mentioned earlier, LVO received the passports on 20th March. Then, they asked for RPRF fees later on.

I remember , when your E-case was updated, I got sooo happy, one of the reason; we have similar Timeline (Different NOC) BUT after reply from LVO, I have lost all hopes & now on this forum to just cherish and being with you guys in your good moments of updates/MR/PPs

You should be happy to be on active processing mode unlike me who have got message , DO NOT DISTURB ...YOU ARE ON HOLD AND FOR UNLIMITED PERIOD

I heard BGC / SC can be done after MR also.....is it true , do we have such example in the forum?

Good Morning/Afternoon. Just a quick question, how long after LVO received your passport did they send it back to you?

MY friends got exactly in 1 month time. E-case turned into decision made in 14 days. Passport was sent back via aramex in Abu Dhabi. And Address was Abu Dhabi Embassy Canada. Usually LVO sent all passports to Abu Dhabi embassy, and then AD- Canadian embassy sent to individual through Aramex.

At times, I have seen people waiting for long receiving passport back, depends on circumstances, visas/travels, or any discrepancy on Passport details.

Please Check COPR when you received and confirm correct data entry on COPR. If there is some error/mistake which is quite common, write email to LVO as highly urgent , & they will advise you to send COPR back for correction.

Thanks dear. Even LVO has puzzled me. At one hand, I had only one employer (with 3- years of exp at a Govt Org. in UAE), but on the other hand, I traveled to almost 20 countries, and resided in 4 different countries (so had to give 4 PCCs)....Inshahallah, all of us will get visas from LVO sooner or later.
JBZZS has analyzed the right thing: It seems they have a special officer whose job is just to create different scenarios. Well-said, JBZZS.
