My file was submitted on June 14, 2013 and received PER on September 02,2013. Have not yet had any updates since then and extremely annoyed the way LVO is treating applicants. I did apply for a TRV for visiting purposes and annoyingly after a delay of 1 month they did grant the visa for 3 months and visited Canada.

I had TRV refused 2 times in the past and that was last year. Should I take this grant of TRV visa on a positive note(indicating that my file is under process and because I am under consideration for Immigration)? Or is it because I have had good travel history?(I am living in the UK on a work permit valid until August 2014/have been to USA-5 years visitors visa/ Have been to France and Spain on Schengen)MA and also hold a 18 months valid Australian work permit).

Also I am moving to Australia for good by start of April and if I were to receive any requests for medicals would it delay the process any further?

Would my medicals be processed in Australian VO or LVO? Thanks

Any thoughts?

Your file will be processed in London VO.

After getting MR from London VO, you can do your medical tests from any CIC approved Panel physician anywhere in the world including Australia 8)

For passport submission you have to follow the instruction of London VO.

Also you should update London VO about your address change.

The long wait from LVO is getting on everyone nerves. This is the reason for all the speculations about LinkedIn, facebook profiles...... My take on this one is, Guys relax!!! I know waiting is difficult but keep your calm and most importantly keep yourselfs together, soon we will hear the GOOD news. Goodluck

I used LDNIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca and got their reply.

Also I used the following link to send CSE and also got reply

https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=london

Why is this forum so silent. The way LVO is going about this fws2013 thingy is a joke. What about all these promises to interviewees that you will receive MR, etc when we get to london in 2weeks? Am I or are we missing something? Broken promises by VOs? Very very strange indeed.

Hi, its nice to found this thread. I was an applicant also but maybe in different category, i applied for TWP under Live in caregiver & i had submitted my application to London Visa office, same thing here, i submitted last july 2013 but until now no updates, no emails, and the same thing comes up everytime i check the status of my application online that my application is "being processed". It seems like LVO had forgotten some applications though originally on their email states that the processing will only take 8-10wks, its quite acceptable that some applications may take longer time than usual but i think they should also take for consideration how long are those applications sitting on their table and same thing with those applicants who are waiting and hoping for updates.. :( :(

But then, i'm still hoping that its worth the long wait.. for everyone of us who are waiting for their application.

Hi Guys,i think everybody should send a CSE to London visa office especially those who were interviewed.I mean this is really not fare and this wait is killing. Its like we are stuck and don't know for how long.i sent them a CSE last week Wednesday and have still not had a reply and i was quite bitter at the way things are done. Its going to be a year in a month s time, still no progress,so how can they claim they want to finish applications within a year? Its really terrible.I did also ask the question of random processing because it is depressing to see, July ,august and even November applications being processed at the expense of may and June applicants. We can understand if majority of may and June applications had been processed, but unfortunately, they have not gone even half way in to the total number of applications.

Please i think everybody should send them a CSE,there is no harm in doing that and try to ask them pertinent questions because we deserve to know what is going one.I remember just before this process was launched last year,i sent them a CSE and they said they expect processing to be between 9-12 months but at this pace,i don't see that happening. Please don't be shy or be afraid in asking direct and pertinent questions because that is the only way we can get the answers we all want.
