London Visa Office

It seems a long weekend today in london???? its family day???
so no activity today by lvo if so....

Each week, we keep expecting LVO to come out with some activity but they keep disappointing us. For the past 3 weeks, nothing! May be we should just ignore them and pretend they don't exist.
 
lvo should have issued MR to 90% of May-July applicants ATLEAST by now...but unfortunately they are working too slow...
n if they work on quota basis....how come their quota for issuing interview and MRs such low at count???
anyhow i pray we all get PR visa by completing one year to our application date (which looks quite impossible now)
so atleast one year to AOR date...

unfortunately till then we can only njoy other visa offices DMs with a sour face... :-X

You are right Maria. LVO completing our application process one year from date applied may be impossible. So, we should be looking towards date of PER. For me, 2 months almost gone after due date of 30/12/2013 to finish review of my application ( in GCMS note). The only next due date in sight is PER date.

im waiting for LVO's jalwa now...halwa i already had (MR)...
but i agree its not same like coming to middle east...atleast our immigration process will be lot easier than previous year applicants...( msaeed 8) )

you should take heart from the fact that there are many applicants who are in 4th year of their application's processing. i am one of them. in april it will be 4 years since i applied but i am happy...i just submitted PPR1.....its a long process but moving to Canada a first world country with a passport which opens 100+ counties for you and the oppurtunities for our kids.....considering all that the wait is worth it....enjoy the wait....good luck

We completed our medical yesterday. Although I did not receive the medical form for my wife & kids, the doctor had managed to trace the IME No. online, so we had our medical together. Result will be uploaded on Tuesday as informed by them.

I think 1 year counts from PER date ... I got my PER on the 30th of August, so hoping to have the VISA by then.

Also, I believe once the interviews are done this month, the LVO will start issuing MRs. The fact people as far as from July have been asked to attend interview, that means LVO have quickly screened through all applications made in May, june, July ... in order to determine which one should attend interview and which one would go straight to MR phase. Some random ones got MRs due to the fact that they were probably meant to attend interview, but then LVO determined this won't be necessary and issued them the MR.

I think by mid march all the May applicants will have MRs ...
