It is very frustrating when we see on other forums that applicants got their passport with Canadian stamp and we are still not sure where our application is and we are still discussing about interviews and possibility or chances of PR. From Last one week, after reviewing different forums, I am seriously thinking to look for other options like Australia or New Zealand. By the time, the options to the other countries will be more and more difficult so why one should sit idle for yearssssss and wait for nothing. If one VO can complete the back ground check than why not LVO??? . I solute to those who are waiting from last 3/4 years.

I'm buffled myself ... cannot understand why they work on random applications. I am hoping they are doing something with our applications too, and will surprise us with MR and fee request at the same time.

Once the medicals are done and the doctor upload the results electronically, how long it takes to update the ECAS system? Is there any specific number of days one has to wait or not defined number of days?

Usually it takes 2 weeks after your medicals......

Dear members
just to share with you that I have received an email from LVO asking to submit PCC, schedule form A and evidence for professional experience within 60 days. no update in ecas. Stay blessed.

Hello All

I've query regarding PCC.

In my case, I'm from India and moved to UK in last April. In may, I've filed for FSW for Canada. My application date is 17th May and received PER in end of July.

I've submitted PCC from India with my application and not submitted my UK Police Certificate (As it was only a month in London when I've applied).

Now my question is, do I've to start process of getting UK PCC now without LVO asking for the same? If its very likely that they are going to ask for it, then to avoid delay should I get the PCC and submit to them without them asking for it??

Or should I wait for them to ask for it?

Thank you.

What do they mean evidence for professional experience? did you send them reference letter from your employer?
do you also mind to share which country are you living in?

Stay blessed!

Think you should wait until they ask you to submit one, if they ask at all. The speedy UK PCC only takes couple of days if I'm not mistaken, the normal one is 10 working days. I did my UK PCC last March, if it is valid for 12 months, then I might have to submit a new one, but will wait until they ask me for one

I been in UK for 2 years and have not sent my UK PCC along with my application. By looking recent trend, as I am expecting that UK PCC will be asked sooner or later so I have start processing to get my UK PCC and will submit once I will get it. I think, its better to make your application complete and don't wait to ask them.

Thanks for quick reply. I also think that I should wait for them to ask. As not sure how long still it will take to start processing my application.

Thanks for the suggestion.

But I think I should wait because not sure how long still it will take to start processing my application. The other thing in my mind is, as I've already supplied my Indian PCC, it covers complete period up-to that point when I've filed application. So it can be that they may not ask for the UK one. And if I can get UK certificate in 10 days, that should be ok I believe. In India its taking long, so I was worried.

Thanks again.

I totally agree, its mystifying how any of these offices are working. As pointed out a lot of visa offices are processing applications at a really good rate.

Unfortunately the London Office, well who knows. Its just bad luck we ended up with them. its getting on for 1 year so far and people still haven't been given the visa, I say we are all still looking at the 25 months as quoted, a what we have been told many times.

Good Luck to as all.

Good luck with your application buddy.

Would you like to share email received from LVO especially the portion in which VO is asking for evidence for professional experience?
