Notarization is done only for photocopy of the original document; I am referring to original documents only. By the way, notarization should be done when someone is going to submit photocpoy of any original document for any official/legal purpose. This notarization will authenticate that the photocopy is the geniune copy of the original but it doesn't autheticate that the original is geniune.

To athenticate/certify an original document, concerned authority must attest it. For example, birth certifcates issued by any emirate in UAE, Minisstry of Freign Affairs of UAE will be the attesting/certifying authority. This attestation is only required if one is going to use this birth certifcate outside UAE. Since we were moving to Canada, therefore it will be helpful for us to get it recognized in Canada. It is similar to attestation of our degrees for UAE visas, attestation of marriage certifcate for spouse viasas when we came to UAE.

I hope this is clear.

I often tend to get jumbled when it comes to docs legalizations ???
The big question: is it a must for every and each document (original/copy)to bear the seal of the Embassy of Canada ?
the smaller ones what is the correct order for the certification?
MOFA- CANADA EMBASSY?
from where do we have to get the docs notarized?

can anyone simplify this plz ?

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D.......... Well MCH is truely lightening fast. Today received PPR1 & PPR2 request in the same letter. I have sent the updated family information and passport copies and will send passports to AbuDhabi in a day or two. In the letter it is clearly mentioned to send return airway bill from Aramex along with the passports...............

Full name of Principal Applicant and file number at least. Attach covering letter and state why your are submitting updated documents and clealry write in bullets/points that what is attached with the covering letter.

You can go after 6 months but you need to have your PR card handy.
