You don't have to fill any PR card form. For new immigrants, this application process is done on your behalf by the immigration officer when u do your landing.

Dear mates,

Do we have to bring with us pre-filled PR CARD APPLICATION (IMM 5444E) at the time of landing. If yes then please tell me do we need to fill the question no. 19, 20, 21, 22 ?
As i think so they are asking for the personal history of the person who has been already living in Canada after getting his PR and i am confused that if these questions apply to us( First time landing applicants).

Already landed forum members plz reply.

Regards,
Addy

Hi Guys,

I have submitted passports (including my family) today to Canadian Embassy - Abu Dhabi for Visa Stamping and In shaa ALLAH soon will get it back...

We are plannning to land in this year to Canada and get our PR Cards..

I have a question. My wife is expecting and we are anticipating delivery in February, 2015.. Now the issue is that since I am currently working in Abu Dhabi I cannot leave my wife in Canada alone.. This means I have to come back to Abu Dhabi after getting the PR Cards (while staying in Canada and thus utilizing my annual vacations) and have the baby delivered in Abu Dhabi..

Will there be any issue in this ? How can I apply for my new born afterwards ?

Appreciate any help !!

Shoaibuc,

It is 33 calendar days these days but there is no gaurantee that it will be same when you land. I remeber, it was more than 70 calendar days couple of months back. Check below:

You can also apply for urgent processing, check below:

Sir

It is better if you could deliver this kid in Canada.
Plan accordingly
Your wife can travel by November (ie before 7th month starts- consult doctor)

Could someone please tell me how long does it take to receive passports back once submitted to VAC (Visa Application Center) London???

Thanks for your reply...

The issue is not the travelling but the circumstances... Can you give any idea about how to apply for new born ?

I second this option, have the baby born in Canada and plan accordingly.
