today i got a reply from my VO saying that it "PCC has been waived for your spouse" and a reminder to send all the PCC's on or before 02-Sep-14.

In our child hood , Fresco was known to us , and now "Rehmat-e-Shireen" came to my knowledge in 2006 when I came to Karachi to buy bangles from Motiwala Jewlers Tariq Road Karachi , for my marriage that was in December 2006.

I am sure that no one on earth can manufacture Bangles like them , they introduced Rehmat-e-Shireen to me , and earlier in 1989 I was introduced to "Student Biryani" , when I was there for PAF Medicals for onward selection in PAF as an Aeronautical Engineer.
At that time they used to operate behind Mizar-e-Quaid in open plot , and their taste at that time was extra ordinary

Any how Tariq Road in Karachi is best in terms of fancy and bridal dresses , as no one can compete , Bombay Origion manufacturers in Zari Suits and Jewelry , Hyderabad origion cooks in Biryani and Papars and achaar in Hyderabad Market adj to jail , and Sweet karagars of Delhi origion in Karachi.

Karachi to me is One Of the most beautiful costal cities of world , well planned and beautiful , driving on Faisal Road is fun in-itself , any how am afraid of coming to Karachi , as last time I had a lucky escape from cross fire at Tariq Road

Guys got my medical and rprf request on 8th. VO MCH.

had send updated docs on 20th May and by 30 may they started
security checks. So it took approx 68 days in my case.

got 60 days for medicals and 30 days for rprf.

Hi congrats to all the members woh have the cases processed and good luck for all waiting .
Ok now just to inform u guys we are done with the medical and the 3rd line appeared .We got a mail asking Abt my wife's police certificate from Pakistan and Background declaration forms and the passport of all family members? They will reach by 15 I guess. Plz can you explain is this PPR1 and what to expect next. I am excited aswell as bit worried plz suggest how much more time for visa issuance is required

Congratulations to Bradraan and Sistrans on receiving updates, InshAllah very soon this waiting game ll be over and we all ll be in our new home land. (Thank you Saeed bhai and Mish for MITHAI NAMMA ).

I ll be landing Calgary end of this month alone then after one month my wife and 1 year old kid will join me InshAllah. I purchased Condor flight ticket as this was the cheapest option for me. Kindly pray for my smooth landing and settlement. I am really thankful to the members of this forum for helping me, many times through out the visa process.

@Schaudhry, Farhan, Luqi and Radawa, U you guys are on top of my pray hit list, inshAllah you ll get good news this week.

I was in Karachi on Aug 04 , attended walima of our Karachi office incharge , and left in the morning of Aug 05.
I am a regular visitor to attend meetings , and am always afraid of roaming about.

Love to stay at Hotel Mehran Karachi , as my father used to stay here , and because of all these reasons I stay at Mehran - (Though this was the most disliked hotel for me in his lifetime , and now the most loved one on this earth).

Insha Allah will be in Karachi around end / early September , have a meeting with KE (KESC). Insha Allah will keep in touch

From gcms notes I requested in mid June. My file was updated on 30
May with updated PCC's and in the notes corresponding to the update , some
things were
erased for both me and spouse. They were most probably instructions to send
File to external sources. Rest looking at the updates in security section ,
One could analyse that security checks started after this.

Again these are assumption looking at the gcms notes, but I do believe
That MCH asks for medicals only after updated docs and security checks.
