Thanks add, but where did you send your passport from? From here its like one part of the world to the other

I sent mine from Norway, i dont think so distance from one county to another would be a problem for courier companies otherwise you can also check your local vfs hopefully they can deliver ur passports to VAC London.

I ordered simple fedex envelop pickup delivery by using fedex website and paid charges online. then next day i called at VAC london office and told them i want to pay for passport delivery service, after one hour i received a call from VAC and i provided my credit card details to the lady.

ive been reading forum from office but as jigzyy n saeed bhai n abu hassan said, its quite a big activity to wrap up.

currently we r waiting for passports to arrive from auh office by this week or next week inshaAllah.
my husband is real busy preparing for pmp as we think he can avail better opportunities with it. he already resigned unofficially and i havent yet. this week ill be trying to selll off some few items at home like treadmill etc. cant afford panic when we wind up next month...

its tough decision to wind up...everyone who hears v r leaving says ' r u sure u both want to resign together without a job there in canada ??? '
its demoralizing at times..but ive my wonderful friends made here for encouragement special thanks to canalyst, JBZZS n Abu Hassan...ive been disturbing them a lot

Dear forum members any updates from KKB?

My officer is KKB also, last contact last week he requested additional document to be scanned and sent by e-mail.

last month i sent many documents to him (Experience letters, copy of contract, Police clearance ..)

But my second line did not appear yet :-[

Have you got the medical received line in your eCAS before this additional X-Ray is requested? If you haven't that may possibly be because of some finding in your wife X-Ray. I will suggest you talk to the Hospital in charge to know what exactly is the problem. Just be optimistic and let's hope it would not be a big issues.

Assalam U Aleikum

Fantasy is all over when passports are back with visas etc.

It very difficult to realize and then accept the fact that , we have to leave all this .Fears of uncertainty start hounding.

Every one is aware of the fact that , initial few years will be difficult , and gradually life will come to normality , and this is difficult to gain same glory in profession and social status that FEW of are enjoying at present in Pakistan / UAE , and are in late thirties or early forties - (If working on GM level and reporting to BOD).

Its my faith , (the only power) , that I am migrating for better opportunities for myself and my generations , and Allah will facilitate me , as He has facilitated all "Muhajreen" in past .

I would advise all mates , (with whom contact will never be established after landing in Canada -its Fact) , to have faith , Allah will help every one , and has helped every one regardless of religions / caste / colour etc. – Stay positive and keep on helping others , regardless of personal circumstances – Trust me it comes back with huge dividends

Congratulations to all forum mates who got positive updates and best wishes for those who are still waiting including myself.

With no update on my status and new issued passport I have quick question, Do I need to update LVO about the new passport or wait for their call, my consultant previously told me that it is not important to update VO with such document update. Moreover, is it good idea to raise CSE now or wait for the end of 6 month of Sec/Check (Meds request was on April 2nd)

You must inform VO about your passport renewal so that , so that new details are incorporated in system , and medical comes details are updated , when it comes

I myself informed VO about renewal of my passport in 2013 - No issues

Are you saying that they should update the medial results which I did on April with the new passport? I am sorry if i appeared confused because I already done with medicals since April 12th.

So far they only requested the following :
- Updated experience letter, Employer Contract & Payslips.
- Updated Sch A (Background declaration form & Travel History Form).
- Police Clearance.

I can Understand your worries right know, Winding up is not an easy task to do where people like u who have settled their family, earning good and other things which are sound.

finishing all those and to start from scratch..really a big big struggle

but people who are 2 years back graduated from their Bachelors study Like me..cannot even imagine the hardship of yours
