Dear fmujeeb,
he filed his application in July 2013 under NOC 3212 and got PER in September or early October. I hope that helps.

hi hila01.....
dont worry about the Police certificates mentioned as '0'
it was there '0' for me too when my gcms came...although with initial application we submitted my hubby's (PA) UAE Original PCC and a coloured scan copy of Pakistan PCC....
Hi Maria,

Do you mind telling me how long it took to get your husband's UAE police ceritificate from the time it was submitted? (and which police office did you apply to?)
I'm applying for the same.. and i gave the paperwork to a friend of mine to submit it on my behalf as i'm not a resident of the UAE anymore.

Thanks,

Pete

hi..i am also from ksa and got my pcc few weeks ago. If you are residing in Riyadh then this the process to get pcc.

first get 2 letters from your embassy. Embassy people already know about these letters. Then take one letter that will be in arabic to MOFA. They will stamp that letter. Then submit those letters to police station at diriyah alongwith one picture, copy of pp and iqama. Pcc will be issued after 4 days.
hope this helps
Wow ! That's pretty complicated. Life in the UAE is much simpler. Go to the designated police station, apply, collect a couple of days later. The. Indian consulate / embassy will issue PCC only after the local police has given one.

One can apply for UAE PCC from any police station. 56 Edirham fees + 100 for English translation. Last time I got in 3rd day after applying, to be on safe side they say it will take 4 working days.

If you want to apply after office hours there is one special counter of AD police in Marina mall from 04:00-09:00 pm.

It's nothing.

Height is this as in Saudi most of the employer's don't release the passport unless you are going on vacation or leaving the company.

I am in touch base of one Indian guy who used to work in KSA after getting his RPRF,PPR from NDVO he had to leave the company and come to India sitting idle just waiting for the rest of the process, as while working in the company he'll not be able to send his passport for stamping.

woww i didnt know abt marina mall facility...we struggled 3 days at shabya police station where police officer (shurta  ) daily came up with a new excuse like... its lunch time, its closed for eid and third time he said he cant help us from shabya n go to mina...finally we got it done within a day from mina police station...

Petesilvo..im not sure if u had emirates id here? through emirates id we can leave an application online..we get an sms approval in 2-3 working days and upon taking sms approval number to police station, we can get the pcc on same day...

but with any procedure..it shouldnt take more than 3-4 working days...good luck..

One thing more if you don't have finger prints registered within UAE database before, then you have to send your biometrics as well.

Maria,

Did you send you PCCs before recieving your GCMS notes? If yes, was it mentioned in GCMS notes that application is updated with PCCs or something like that? I am just curious to know if updated documents are also recorded in GCMS notes clearly or not.

Thanks for that nkalra and Maria.

I had a UAE ID in 2009. Not sure about UAE having had my fingerprints before.. but i did send them an original fingerprint document from Bahrain Police, certified by the foreign affairs and UAE embassy. So i hope this is sufficient enough.

Glad to know it doesn't usually take a long time as i remember someone telling me before that it takes a month or two...
