Its been over 57 days since I did my medicals and no line has appeared stating medicals have been received. Shall I wait a bit more or send a CSI? And pharmacist farhan have you received your PPR 1 ? thanks

Get your passports renewed , it will cost in terms of time and efforts to get this renewal from Canada.
Insha Allah soon you will be in process of packing and making travelling plans.

Thanks Abu Hassan bhai...tht means our visa will be valid upto 16-Jan..when medicals were uploaded...im just calculating if its feasible to land in october or second week of january...

well yes this year me n my hubby renewed paki passport..but unfortunately in a confusion renewed only for 5 years anyhow my passport photo was quite bad so im happy hhahahaha

v r now disturbed abt wrapping up from uae rather than PPR...when do u leave permanently..

Land in November , as January will be bottom line , expiry of your visa , and there is no wisdom in pushing things till border line

Dear MH-UK, so far I'm just waiting for PPR..............don't worry if ecas is not showing the medical status.......see the case of Jigzyy,,,his ecas was also not up-dated so few months and all at sudden he got PPR1....

we r still thinking when to move permanently although we have one 3 year old with us only...
i have also delayed pre-school of my daughter bcoz of permanent landing...
moving for good from uae is tough decision for us...but we have to one day...inshaAllah planning to land in canada after celeberating bakra eid in pakistan

Well, I am also in the same situation as you are. After analyzing the options, I have decided to sell off all furniture here in UAE which is almost new. I will be carrying TV, Desktop computer and Play Station for which I am ready to buy a voltage converter to use them in Canada. Since I recieved PPR1 in first week of June, I didn't re-register schooling of my kids. As soon as I recieve stamped passports, I shall reisgn and plan to land permanently in Septeber 2014.

Let's see how things work out.

Thanks Moh Bas! This is good advise. Sounds like LVo is my only real choice. Does LVO remain slow...or have the problems experienced by FSW 2013 applicants been resolved?

One issue you could face with NDVO is that according to Indian government rules a Passport can not be taken
out of India by courier and I am assuming that a passport cannot be sent to India by courier.

So in case your passport is required for visa stamping, you will have to be in India and it could take months.
A friend of mine got his visa stamped from NDVO after 2 1/2 months from submission date.

also we have intention tht my husband leave in october and i land in january with DD...BUT then we think to land together n b together in bad times

i would say LVO was good with indian applicants of fsw2013 except for Rawdah

Thanks Farhan, I shall wait for a few more days then.Hopefully I shall receive something in between. I received my medicals on May 10 which I took on May 21. I am not sure if this was a stroke of luck but I had received my GCMS notes 2 days before my medicals request i.e May 08. Did this trigger a reminder on LV systems or its just a mere coincidence.

I am thinking if CSI would also do the same for PPR? I am just getting too stressed about it
