Has everyone received the Medical Forms, after receiving the MR and RPRF e-mail from LVO?

My consultants sent LVO e-mail on Thursday, but I'm still waiting for hear back from them ...

Can someone pks tell me what are the avg charges to remit amount from Pakistan bank to canadian bank.?

There are two type of charges.

1. That will be charged by your bank , will be max 16 or 100 US $
2. Charged by Bank In Canada - Contact your Canadian Bank who will inform you about this.

I remitted a sum of US $ 2200/- for my sisters basement rent in Feb 2013 , and local bank deducted $ 398 on this !!!!!!!

Its better to get FDD in your name , any one , your father , brother can get in your name upon production of support documents as required by Bank.

FDD from SCB costs US $ 16/- and TD Bank Canada charges $.5/- as collection fee

dont worry...ur SC will be extended as far as i think considering u r from KPK..try to dig out other kpk cases bro..

Dear Sis, for me it is a big confusion. Sometimes i think there is really something wrong with my application as i am the oldest amongst ECAS 2nd line applicants from LVO.

In Continuation to the above mentioned. I had a word with the Canadian Authorities to be specific with 'Canada Revenue Agency, Income Tax Department'. + Same confirmed by CBSA as well.

And these are my findings.

For the left over money:-

1. You are allowed to bring as much money you can.
2. You don't need to pay taxes on the money which you haven't not earned on the Canadian soil (before you become PR).
3. But you need to pay the taxes on the interest earned on that money until you bring that money in Canada. (For example- If I had 10k$ left over money after the 1st landing, and if I wish to bring this money after 2 years, I need to pay taxes on the interest of this 10k$, which my banks give me as interest let say 30,000 INR. So on this 30,000 INR I am liable to pay taxes to Canadian government.
4. For the tax reduction at the end of the year, make sure you have all the records to back up your claims that this money has earned overseas before you became PR. For example your old bank statements etc...
5. Or If you are employed after becoming the PR and working outside Canada you become liable for taxes for the money remit into your Canadian account, if that money earned in some certain countries where they have tax treaty then it will be tax free, but subject matters.

Submitted passports to Abu Dhabi embassy yesterday.

ECAS status: Decision Made.

Now counting days for visa stamping. (They said within 10 working days).

salam....ur full name, UCI & Application no. will be sufficient on envelope. sometimes we added subject too.
PCC & rprf DD will be sent through courier. add a cover letter and/or a print out of ur MR+PC+RPRF email (single pages)

medicals will be sent directly via clinic...good luck

Advise Courier Company , (DHL etc) , to put your file reference number that starts with EXXXXXXXXXXX , in their AWB.
All incoming mail is scanned at Visa Offices , through bar code reader , and information collected / entered at that spot counts.
