hi mabmabs, yes i am anxiously waiting. no i am not going to raise another CSE. lets wait and see. what about you? any updated documents or any other update? what your ECAS says?

luqi I am honestly wish that you hear soon from LVO & of course something positive like medical request. Getting such e-mail from LBM after IN PROCESS is absurd & strange. At the moment, I am doing nothing but wait & watch and praying of course, I am not having even 2nd line but since we both receive similar email from LBM so I guess our applications would be more or less be in same queue and God Knows how long do we need to wait further.

I was wondering if you know anyone who got similar email from LVO, & later got medicals or any update. That will give us some clue about waiting time after she mentioned " we will contact you again as soon as we are able to, however, you should note this may not be for quite some time yet" Mine email is dated 7th April 2014. So 2.5 months almost gone.

we can only assume, no one knows how specifically LVO works. i believe they copy paste in response to CSE's. Patience and prayers is what we have to do now.

Can anyone give his thoughts on my situation

As the processing on my application started on 19 May 2014, I sent an inquiry to LVO on the status of application. I received a reply nearly a month later with the exact following wording:

"Dear Client

Thank you for your enquiry.

Your file is with the officer, and we expect a letter to be MAILED to you shortly.

Sincerely"

The first thing that jumped to my mind is that they will be MAILING a rejection letter. Otherwise they could have said "further instruction will be sent to you" or "Medical request is expected to be emailed to you", something of this nature.

Any thoughts..

p.s. My interview outcome was negative

By the way, there is a discrepancy. In 2nd email, they mentioned, your application is awaiting officer review while first e-mail they mentioned background checks are in progress with your application. what is it actually ? awaiting officer review or in progress with application ?

yes thats why i am astonished and in a belief that LVO actually copy paste in emails. in late february i was advised for lenghty BG checks and now when in june i raised CSE they replied your file is awaiting review, although i have 2nd line. Did they ask for updated documents in your case?

no updates, nothing at all......all I have is my PER from CIC. From LVO, just one CSE email from LBM (Same as yours)

luqi, you have 2nd line & already got request for updated document. so guess you in better position than mine, InshAllah you will get medicals soon without any more delays. Matter of few months , I guess.......?

I personally think if someone has not second line and laura replied waiting officer review applicant should expect interview call .........
