London Visa Office

Hi everyone,


I recently (nov, 25 2013) got an email from the London visa office where they asked me to resend a couple of documents along with some forms, which i did a couple of weeks back. Now is this is an indication that the MR is forthcoming ?if yes, then a rough idea on how long before i get it. If not, then what exactly does this represent.

Following were the documents and the forms i was asked to resend.

- IMM0008
- New Schedule A Background/ Declaration forms
- New Additional Family Information forms IMM5406
- Copy of the passport bio- data page
- Updated original police certificates
- Proof of settlement funds

Would really appreciate the replies . cheers.

They must have issued you a new file number starting from E000******

You will get MR + RPRF+ Updated Travel History by March 31,2014.

Exiting within Visa Time Limit is good travel history , and staying beyond limits is bad.

Hi All,

I have recently changed by job and want to update my VO. Please let me know what documents I should send. New organization is reluctant to give me JD in written. below mentioned documents would be enough or I need to send anything else?

> Resignation letter submitted to last company.
> Contract letter of new job.
> Pay slip of new job.
> covering letter

Hi,

I recently recieved the medical request. the concern i have is that i heard one's passport should be valid for one year from the date passport request is sent by the visa office? is that true? since hopefully i will recieve it by Aug/Sep and my passport's validity is till March 2015.

Passports needs to valid at least Six Months at the time of submission at VO for stamping of visa.

Guyz I have received Interview call from LVO 2 hours back.
They have requested the principal applicant only to appear for interview, they have given one of the date in FEB.
Pray for me.

in case one sent all original docs and they called for interview what would be presented in this case?

Yes i did for some of the documents. They have mentioned if you have submitted an original docs earlier bring the photocopies with you.

"You must bring with you all ORIGINAL
documents, translated into English or French, which apply to your application.
Translations must be certified. Should you have already submitted the original copy of a
supporting document to our office, such as an educational degree or qualification, then you are
a required to bring a photocopy to the interview. Original documents will be returned to you
when your case is concluded."
