He / She should be program assistant. I have not seen Visa Officer sending direct emails. MCH, DXS, SXB, TAB, JMR, LBM all are assistants under different Visa Officers which carry out all the communication between Visa Officer & applicant.

VCM is most probably working under these assistants and carry out all general requests / emails.

When my CSE was sent by consultant in jan the name at the bottom was IMS...is this a person or something obvious like immigration service??

Good one barcomi, before my MR, I raised CSE on Dec 04, 2013 and on Dec 17 2013 LVO replied me that my application was under review by an immigration officer, they also wrote that you will get further instructions in early part of 2014 and finally on Jan 10, 2014 I got MR......so I feel it's a positive response that your file is under review at the moment. Hopefully you will get MR within a month or may be earlier than that.

Fingers crossed! It didn't say it is under review by an immigration officer though ... it just says it is currently under review.

I raised CSE in January and May, same response that application is currently under review. When will this review end?

Dear All,

Alhamdhulilah, consultant received PPR email on may 21st, as always they slept on it and called me today and fwded the mail as well.

Noticed that they are asking to send passports to London thru VFS London.
