what about licensing process for your trade. I believe Mechanical engineer is falling in regulated trades need license to practice. have you started in this direction. any home work to get license.

Yes MC Engg profession will fall under regulated trade, I am not from this field so haven't done any homework related to that.
Well not decided yet... still Heart says go for NS (Brother stays there) Mind says got to AB (My profession has more job opportunities there) .

You are right; Mechanical Engineering is a regulated profession but it doesn't mean that I am not going to get job without license. This license is only required if Engineer has to approve, sign and stamp drawings, design etc. Once I move there, I shall start planning to get this license. It is also obvious that having license will open more doors for further better job opportunities.

I am planning to land in Toronto as Ontario Province suits to my current job experience. I believe, I will have better chances to get job in Ontario Province as compared to other provinces.

Looks like more ppl attending and they introduced one more session on May 24, as I had reported much earlier I am invited to attend on June 19th in Dubai. Anyone else on June 19th?

I had enquired at Direction for Immigrants - Bow Valley College whether we can get a job without P.Eng license in Alberta, I got the following reply:

In Alberta, you may find an engineering job without being a P.Eng, but then you cannot expect any career advancement. You just stay in entry level positions and never move up.

Saeed bhai do i also have to send medical results to lvo with RPRF reciept? I am asking this because of the following instructions i recieved from LVO with Medical forms

**We also require the following to be sent (via mail/courier) within 60 days:

-medical examination results for you and your family**

IOM is responsible for uploading of results..........at the end of your medical they inform you if there would be any problem you may receive a call from IOM in next two days.......and on third day its uploaded .....and now a days after week third line is added in our Ecas................

It usually appears after a week for most of the applicants. But pray not to get stuck in between like mine, it's been 20 days since medicals & 14 days since its uploaded and no line appeared :
