Maria,

You didn't follow the hibernation rule properly in your first try. Now you should follow untill you get PPR ;D ;D ;D

Just kidding ;) ;) ;)

Don't worry. Your time will come. I remember you telling about travel history of your husband. This might be taking time. I wish you good luck.

At my side, I am expecting my medical results to be uploaded by this afternoon and my RFRP DD to be delivered at LVO by tomorrow.

I now have the lovely third line: "Medical Results have been Received" :)
It appeared overnight.
Congrats buddy!

You are right brother.

You know, the first snowfall is wonderful. But with the passage of time, you start getting frustated. The frustation goes on peak when you don't see SUN for months ;D ;D ;D. We come from region like Pakistan, UAE, India, etc. which has almost year around sunshine. When we people will not see SUN for months, trust me, everyone will say as you said, " Lakh Di Lanat".

Then summer season will come for couple of months & will make us a bit nomral. But when second snowfall season will start, trust me, no one is going to welcome or enjoy this time ;D ;D ;D. This cycle goes on until we get used to the weather conditions ;) ;) ;).

(I didn't need the Hep tests)

Hep B/C is via blood test, HIV/Syph is via blood test, TB is via X-ray.
I don't know the names of the tests (but you could call a clinic to ask). They can't be too straightforward as they are sent away for analysis rather than done on site.

I did check that those of us immunised against Hep and TB should not show as positive on any tests, so hopefully no worries there :)

The other checks are blood pressure, sight, urine test for diabetes etc (not sure what else they checking for there), visual inspection of ears/eyes, and a feel around your abdomen to check for enlarged organs (a sign of infection). Oh, and they weight you and check your height too.
For kids they are supposed to report on any development/behavioural observations, but I don't remember anything happening in relation to that - so I guess they tick a box if the child speaks eloquently/politely to them ;)
