NDVO is working so fast... and i don,t think they are doing this on their own.. they must have received specific instructions for NDVO applicants from minister's office.. all this preference depends upon country to country bilateral relations... international repute,, market economy and many other factors...

Well said. It looks like that to me as well. LVO likes to flip through our applications for the sake of it without getting down to do actual work hence our app are delayed. What a mysterious way of working. Good luck to us all

+1 for you , you rightly said /......It looks LVO is stuck by their own processes and doesn't know how to get out of this..../

So far not a single case has been completed end-to-end from LVO in whole one year. I think they don't know what they are doing.

All rubbish stuff from LVO... So many ambiguities... Send updated documents, send updated passport copies, ppr1/ppr2 vs only ppr...some visas from ABu Dhabi and some from London, no respect for 1 year promise vs they know they have to complete in 1 year, may/june applicants sleeping vs visas for nov/dec applicants...how many permutations they have? It looks LVO is stuck by their own processes and doesn't know how to get out of this...tired of all this non-sense... Applicants from NDVO and other offices already getting jobs and settling the life in Canada in these high demand occupations and we r just lingering on and stuck with these LVO processes...NDVO seems to be ready to start their long vacation by completing all work and getting ready for 2015 plans....

Seems this thread is very active but not so many good news as expected. Personally I am little bit tired of LVO.

After 1 year, overall performance of LVO is too disappointing in terms of FSW 2013.

It is just a bad luck that we are stuck with LVO.

Of course they know what they want. Process what we want quick with a strict instructions from minister and as for the rest only God knows. Hence NDVO applicants are porcessed quick whilst all other VO applicants lanquish in a heap to gather dust. It will become clearer as the year draws to a close and express entry starts.

Another week is coming to an end in two days without any major news from LVO. Hope for the best for the coming two days.
It seems that 1 year commitment is not going to fulfill, as anniversary is around the corner.

We should not be hopeless, but should minimize our expectations from LVO based on their past performance. :-\

Yes there is. I've mentioned this before about tweeting CIC immigration and also the immigration minister.

We shouldnt just keep sitting here patiently waiting as we'll still be moaning this time next year!

Sending a polite tweet just asking what's going on can do no harm.

Hi Guys, My brother 2010 applicant finally got the same email today to send pp copy and later will be stamped in Abu Dhabi when they ask him.

He did the medical approximately 9 months ago and since his wife was pregnant they had to complete the medical for his wife and baby before 2 and half months.

They told him his visa will be valid one year from the date of the medical, so which date will be considered the earlier or the one before months and half???


The other thing, if he got the visa on his current passport and then renew his passport before going to canada . Will that be an issue??

but the way of work of LVO is truly pathetic and not showing that interest, which we shown iwhile submitting the applications

majority of may june applicants are sitting without any news, than what will happen to us means later applicants

so have decided to write a letter to minister witho from fsw applicants of london visa office without any personal identification

Guys,

Just to let you know that the Minister and CIC are well aware how many applications are processed and how many are outstanding not just by LVO, but by all VO.
They do their monthly reports just as any other organization does ...

Tweeting them won't change anything. Embassies will not be bullied by people tweeting and e-maling.
