How many people have applied for their GCMS, tbh I'm not sure it will tell us much until they actually start processing.
I feel just emailing the LVO might be a better option at this stage.

It is good to email LVO to enquire about application status but don't forget that they are not being open as to the actual date for processing our application in early 2014. This (exact date in early 2014) should be reflected in the GCMS note now that LVO is hammering on early 2014.

I planned to request my second gcms in the first week of december as I informed earlier but as I compared my earlier notes with Soundless i dropped the plan.
So maybe i will only be applying after a few months if God forbid i dont see any activity...

but certainly i would appreciate if others who havent requested yet are applying for gcms..

It is us , unlucky MI 1 , who are waiting since 2010 for any update on our files

I personally feel that applying in end Jan would give us the most of the info out of it.
Reason:
It usually takes 30 to 40 days to reach GCMS notes to us - also please note that when we'd get our GCMS notes, those would reflect 10 to 15 days past status of our application. Applying for GCMS notes in end Jan would mean that we'd get those in early Mar, showing most probably the status of mid to end Feb proceedings. That (mid to end Feb) would be the time when - as per the email comprehension that I received from LVO, immigration officer would have completed his assessment and put his observations. So I feel applying in end Jan would bring some good info for all of us.....

Also we can send CSE from mid January onwards which would also give us some fair idea about the progress of our files.

I agree it will be more faster than GCSM note but LVO will not give specific dates. This could be the reason why GCMS note is more detailed as we have to pay to obtain information.
