yesterday morning (UAE time), upon opening my ECAS, i got my third line regarding the results of our medical....then late afternoon, I received an e-mail from LVO requesting for our passports and pictures....cant believe that fast....just to share, CIO recieved our application on the third week of Nov. 2013, then credit card charge of 2nd week of jan. 2014, then PER 3rd week of Jan. 2014.....then file transferred to LVO on 1st week of March 2014, then medical request (along with some updated forms and bank darft) 2nd week of March 2014, third line was yesterday, then hours later our passport request......really, we were surprised....that fast....

Many congrats.

Now it's just a formality. LVO shall stamp your passport and send it back between 15-30 days most probably.

Where were you instructed to submit your passport, London by courier or Abu Dhabi in person?

just received my passport request, and i am planning to send it soon....

the thing is I am confused which mailing address i should use, should i use my PO box or my home address...because LVO said they will mail by courier for middle east countries...

hoping for your inputs thanks....

Don't know about U.A.E but for Saudi Arabia P.O.Box address along with mobile number is o.k as LVO will send passport through aramex.

What aramex does is they send you message on your mobile providing tracking number of your package and then you can call them and give your physical address for delivery. If the driver can not locate your physical address then he will call and tell you to come at some landmark to collect your package.

First of all, congratulations on your PPR & good luck for your PR Visa.

You should provide your home address with your mobile number, a must. Don't write down your P. O. Box as it is irrelevant. The most important information in your address will be your mobile number.

yes as im noticing too..pakistani applicants are plunging into 4-5 months background check mostly..so it would be no surprise to us even if ppr comes somewhere in may/june..

For other nationalities v should see ppr's soon like Ibasco

According to my point of view, it all depends upon BG security clearance..............see there are certain countries (like unfortunately Pakistan) for whom CSIS has to get a very deep dive for security clearance, so for Pakistanies bit longer BG security clearance should be expected. I am not going into the debate whether it is fair or unfair, but as matter of reality, it so. And, we have to see the reality. (BTW, I feel that is reason LVO didn't call RPRF along with MR coz DD - if RPRF is being paid so - has a limit of validity and at time sending MR, LVO would not be sure for such cases that how much time would be taken for BG security clearance).
On the other hand there are fair amount of applicants who, by virtue of their nationality / country wouldn't be considered as coming from some high risk countries and in all those cases a rapid turn-around (by CSIS) is consequently expected. Rapid turn-around means an early PPR (PPR 1 or PPR 2)........

Same here in UAE, in fact when Aramex sends the sms there is one link to chose your suitable delivery time, date and venue.

Up to you, either you can choose home delivery else select pick up from their office, you go there personally show your emirates ID and collect your shipment.

I have another two questions related to your employment
1. How can we connect two circuits to one circuit breaker?
I said (Actually connecting two circuits to a circuit breaker is illegal and not a good practice) i kept silent for a moment and told ' we can connect it serially' while no chance for a parallel connection ,if do so it will burn.
she said 'No ! yours is a wrong answer,You know I am an Electrical diploma holder, and my father is an electrician. this question could be answered by every person who has a basic knowledge of an electrician.
2. what are the regular procedure in your work field
I explained while ours is a cable television network, and explained about its line drawing, cable charging and network design etc....
and she added ' What are the electrical measuring equipments you usually use'
I said' multi meter, DB ,meter (for signals)etc...

the second thing you have withheld some personal information about your education and job status .I believe that you are a lawyer and not an electrician
I said ' No mam I am an electrician and as well as an enrolled lawyer but not practicing, I still working as an electrician '
For that i have given the appointment letter from the employer and the experience letter stating
14 years experience.
she said No. I will not proceed your application, I recommend to my superior for a refusal,Ok?

I told mam I have no deliberate intention to keep any thing hide, I thought these factors are not relevant in my case as an electrician
she: No who told you to consider it as irrelevant, every data about you is relevant for us . This is cheating I never allow any body to cheat my county.
she never asked any other document which was demanded through letter
we were carrying all documents like proof of fund (fixed deposit receipt for 12 lakhs(previously gave 23.5 lakhs in account statements),property valuation report by a govt valuer for Rs-1.5 crores,wedding photos, outing photos(three heavy albums)
she checked our passports ,and received appointment letter from employer and experience certificate.
thats all in this interview

my brothers! .. I was knowingly never tried to hide anything , I thought by disclosing all details about my law degree and enrollment will make a mismatch in the applied category (7241).
What could I do next to convince her.
what would be her decision ? the status still same as 'in process'
Why they are so suspicious on Indians this type of silly matters?
In my knowledge misrepresentation means any this provide wrongly for some benefit. But in my case I have done it for no benefit.

Please advice me what to do next to convince them or guess what would me the decision ?

Since it was posted, I just checked my LinkedIn, I have one viewer 2days before. But not a specific person it says "Industry"

Lets hope this BC Check ends by end of March'14 for May applications and let us get some good news from LVO........soonnnn
