Another week gone , with no updates, no good news from LVO.

Another disappointing week ! I don't know for how long will it continue to be like this ? Impasse, don't know what to say & how to express my disappointment.

If LVO are checking into linkin websites , they should check this thread & they would know how much are all suffering. Even successful interview holders are waiting to hear since 1 month, how do other expect & what to expect ?

Almost 10 months gone, with NO updates !

I agree. I believe LVO is not seriously working on fsw applicants or they are still working on backlogs. LVO is taking more than 4 weeks just to send an MR email to those who already cleared the interview.
Need to know what are the official platforms to raise this issue? This is the right time, to raise voice whether through CSE or via email. I believe interviewed ones would not be interested to raise CSE as they already got verbal commitment, but as I have not heard any thing from them after PER, and fsw anniversary is a month away, I need to know why I am not contacted by LVO? or is there anything all right with my case?
Maximum they will reply that my case is in the queue but they have to reply me.

Its time to raise the CSE by maximum applicants now or else May applicants will be raising CSE next month for sure.

Hi Friends,

It seems so far 50% visa issued by NDVO and almost 80% applicant received MR and passport request.
I am not sure why LVO is too slow, so far they are active for few NOC, and they are not processing our case in Queue.
Some one said LVO got 20 Visa officers but it seems they all are sleeping. It is almost 10 month since most of candidate applied.
If 1 VO process 1 case per month, almost (20*1*10)=200 applicant should received decision.

Waiting time loose interest in immigration process.

Hope LVO will wakeup soon with MR monsoon for everyone.

I completely agree with you, something has to be done. I think everyone who has had interview and still haven't heard anything 4 weeks on really need to raise CSE and ask exactly what is going on now.

Also other May apps, why not do the same and raise CSE. Perhaps if they start receiving lots of emails they might pull their finger out.

We've emailed immigration minister and that was a waste of time. I don't know, what about Twitter? Immigration on there perhaps again or if CIC are on there?

Anythings got to be worth a try but it has to be done by all now so they take notice.

maybe because the nature of application that LVO is handling is different from NDVO and other visa offices, this might imply longer time for BG checks and security clearance. I'm just trying to find a logical reason behind this turtle speed.

NDVO is also processing applications from Indian Nationals residing in various gulf countries therefore I don't think there should be any delay in BG checks from LVO either 8)

Need to know what is the difference b/w contacting through CSE or via email? and please type email address for contacting LVO.

Its better to push it through CSE or via email, whether it worked or not. A push is better than waiting everyday for an update, as ecas seems to be a useless tool so far.

It seems that VOs are asking things randomly from applicants, without any aim to completely finish the cases. LVO is seriously lacking behind as compared to his peer NDVO specially in case of fsw2013.

People on this LVO forum are trying to give excuses for london CHC delays. It is very strange to me why all these delays at London and some other places. Look NDVO are processing applications at such a fast pace and you wonder what is going on at London. I am sure LVO read this thread and they must be laughing everyday puting people through this unnecessary stress. The pathetic excuse is BG seurity checks. What about NDVO applicants? This could be positive discrimination to frustrate people. Looking at the trend at LVO it funny how people still think they aim to process applications within 1 year.

So the last on your list took at least 4 yrs to completion? Wow! That is unbelievable, does that mean skilled immigration programme is not based on demand? So the demand to fill skilled jobs dont get filled for such long time and still available?

you are right, it's been really disappointing,to be realistic we should forget about 1 year deadline and we should also not be optimistic that at max they will finalize cases till dec 2014 b/c in jan 2015 they r starting EOI model, that has nothing to do with the backlog, the new model will start and they will be playing with old cases, uptill when? god knows

Guys,

As I have mentioned before, I am starting a new job on the 31st of March.

I asked my lawyers if I should send a letter to LVO regarding my new job, and they said No, as decision on my case will be made based on the documents send with the application.

I am a bit confused, as on the PER it clearly says please inform us of a change of employment. The only thing is, I cannot get a reference letter from my new employer, as he is not aware of it. Was only planning to send a copy of my new contract, which confirms my position and starting date, but doesn't mention any duties.

What do you think??? :(

I understand the temptation to keep things straightforward and simple by not telling them, but since they do ask you to tell them of such changes, I think you should notify them within a couple of weeks of starting, unless the process reaches its conclusion before then of course ;-)

When I notified them of a new job I just gave them what I could - they don't expect a full reference, a job offer letter etc will do. Your new job isn't the criteria on which your application is accepted.

I was glad I did tell them, because later it made for a straightforward interview - rather than "surprise here is something you didn't know".

What would happen if CIC decided to check your employment history and called your previous employer and found out you hadn't notified them? Maybe they wouldn't reject you, but it wouldn't help you much. On the plus side if you tell them they will look at your file and maybe progress it along at the same time ;)

Congratulations on your new job by the way :)
