I have been asked to send my passports to the London office for the stamping of the visa. Any idea as to how I can send my passports from India to London??? ???

in GCMS notes which I applied immediately after receiving UCI number mentioned that:
Eligibility: not started

What should I conclude?

Due date means nothing. It is just a reference to bring forward your file and see if any related documents have been received.

Hello Diplomatru how are you.i want to discuss one issue with you.my wife is a principal applicant.we applied in july 2014 from saudia till then we have recieved no update from Lvo though i submitted pcc with application and also we submitted pcc from current country of Residence.we applied for Gcms notes 3 time only in last notes eligibility was in progress.i raised Cse got reply that file is undergoing review and our secondary office in notes is islamabad while primary is london.Meanwhile my wifes emplyoyer has shifted office to some new place while on documents the address was old one.Do you think we should notify London visa office about that?is this causing delay in our file progress?

I want to ask one question. We did our Medicals on 7th of Jan, however, so far the 3rd line on ECAS is not updated. Couple of my friends did their medicals on the 4th and 5th at the same IoM and their lines are updated in 5-8 days. Should I be worried?

I am also October applicant with same NOC. Applying for GCMS is good to release your frustration.
As per your comments, how you know your due date as you are going to apply GCMS now?

Yes its very frustrating but we need to patience too see where our destiny will take us.

Instead of raising cse i have applied for GCMS last week ,atleast we will come to know our due date .

My due date was 31-dec-2015..

Yes but you have to sign Authorization letter in the name of the person who will submit your passports.

Will this apply for someone taking your passport to the London office on your behalf?

Can I send someone to the High Commission in London with our passports and an authorization letter on my behalf? or maybe to VFS London?

Has anyone done this recently?

I had applied in October 2015 through which i came to know that DEC-31 is due date.

Nothing came after that so applied GCMS notes again a week before.

This is the peak limit they set in their ERP system that they use for ECAS management. Means that this is the maximum deadline before which decision must have been made about your file.

There is no firm timeline for that. Some applicants are able to see a status update on eCAS in a week, others wait for a couple of months. Unless you receive a furtherance request from IoM you are good to go as far as your medical assessment is concerned.
