Bro it seems that you had contacted CIC directly and not your visa office. CIC can only intervene once the processing time had passed which currently is 13 months.qtasneem said:Dear Forum Members,
I raised CSE last month on 5th Dec, 2015 regarding my application status. I received following email
Sir, Madam,
Thank you for contacting Citizenship and Immigration Canada. I am pleased to follow up on your request:
The current processing times on our website regarding federal skilled worker applications processed by the Canadian visa office in London, England, are 18 months. Your application was received in London on February 13, 2015. Please write back to us if you have not received a decision after August 13, 2016.

What shall I do ?
Very good catch Jam. OP has sent the CSE to CIC and not the London Visa Office.jam2k94 said:Bro it seems that you had contacted CIC directly and not your visa office. CIC can only intervene once the processing time had passed which currently is 13 months.
You can contact CIC after march 13 only but you can raise CSE to your visa office now to ask about the status of your application.
This reply also give an idea that the processing time will be calculated from the day once the file transfer to the visa office.
What is your own situation, Jams? At what stage you case has reached? Whether you raised any latest CSE or ordered GCMS notes? And what was the updated status or new due dates?jam2k94 said:Bro it seems that you had contacted CIC directly and not your visa office. GCMS ordered at the end of November shows the due date as 31/12/2015.
No new updates
May be raise CSE again within this week or next week.

I have good news and frustrating news
Good news is I got my canada visa stamped and passport returned today
My time line is as follows:
PER NOV2014
Interview oct 2015 @ Abudhabi
Medical done end oct
Medical rcd mid nov
PPR dec first week
Passport sub. Dec 28 2015
Passport return 12 Jan 2016
Now frustrating news is visa says
1. Immigrant and not FSW
2. Validity is 6 months instead of 1 yr from medical ie oct 2016
