Just thinking that, LVO has to meet two deadlines.
First deadline for May 2013 applicants, is 30th April 2014. Second deadline is to finish backlogs coming from previous years, by the end of Dec 2014, so that they can start new EOI (Online) in 2015. They have mentioned this to applicants in the interview.

All May interviews are going to finish this week. No one is called for interview in April. The sample interview (of one third applicants from May) showed good results, majority cleared the interview. As there is no further time left for LVO to call for further interviews, check security and background checks to meet the first deadline(April 2014), the only way for them is to issue MR to the remaining ones keeping the successful interview ratio.

Similarly, the only technique to complete 10-15k backlogs by Dec 2014 is possible by same sampling technique. But if they go in details about each and every case (interview etc), then they can't meet the second deadline i.e December 2014 as well.

Can May applicants (who were not asked for interview) confirm from their employers, about their background checks? If someone's background check is done, then he is the next one in line (specially for May applicants), but if no one confirms, it means that all can expect MR soon and this step is skipped for all (on the basis of good outcome of the sample interviews). The same can be confirmed through GCMS Notes.

Would appreciate if the below PER recipients (of May 2013) confirm the same via employer or via gcms notes.

My GCMS note recieved few days ago show only a transfer of application from one officer to another on 24 february 2014, nothing else. No second line added till now

Please elaborate details of your process: did you go though interview? if yes, how was it, etc. etc.
