Visa Officer : RFI

Raised CSE 2 times and got the same reply " your file is awaiting review and if any additional documents required we will in touch with you "
Got GCMS NOTES, in the NOTES due date was 15th september, 2015 (but nothing happened on this date)

again raised CSE 2 times after 15th september and got the same reply.
Got the second NOTES, Second due date is 30th December, 2015

The status is PA PUT AWAY.
ELIGIBILITY : Not started
Criminality : Not Started
security : Not started
Medical : Not started

What does it means, that the visa officer hasn't touched the file yet or some processing going on in the background?

The ECAS STATUS shows three line
Received application
started processing
Transfer file to LVO

Reply will be appreciated. ......

I have one last question. My family is in Pakistan and I am in KSA. And I am asked to submit all passports to Riyadh office whereas my family is in Pakistan.
Any Advise from seniors?

Alhaldollillah medicals done tdy...very simple and easy....i had BP 140/80 and spouse had 133/90...should we worry...we dnt have history of BP...may be its due to travel etc...

ALso when i shud expect PPR ...

For my CSE on Friday they replied me on Tuesday 24th November that my file is waiting review by an officer. So no idea is this a review before security clearance or is this a final review of the case.

Seniors any idea ?

reply to cse is always v standard don't take it seriously..If u r interested in knowing ur status simply apply notes.

You will at least come to know what's going on and due date.

Already ordered but that will take time.

I sent 3 CSE's in the whole year and got different reply each time. So that's y wondering what is exactly happening.

I have done a lot of research in this regard. Even during my one of the posts on the forum I have elaborated the official working procedure of the LVO or any other Canadian Visa Office of Citizenship and Immigration Canada abroad.

The workflow is as under:-
CIC Nova Scotia after PER to -> Visa Office ->Inside Visa Office File will be handed over to Program Assistants(RFI, LBM, DRD,MCH, VCM etc.) to ->Program Assistants will do initial scrutiny of the file one by one in sequence. to ->Visa Officer (When Program Assistant is satisfied that file doesn't have any doubts he will handover the file to Visa Officer)--here visa officer will give green signal to issue the MR if he is also preliminary satisfied with the review of documents OR otherwise launch an intensive investigation on doubtful documents OR doubtful information. to ->Case forwarded for security clearance to Canadian Intelligence Agencies--to ->if received security clearance reports Visa Officer Makes the Decision and requests Passport with ->Decision Made.



Therefore the most important thing is that When your Program Assistant (RFI,DRD,LBM etc) completes his job so that next stages can be triggered. Otherwise your file will always have "...Awaiting/Pending review by an officer...". Awaiting review because this lazy program assistant (RFI,DRD,LBM etc) did not finish his work.

HI ..there is no fixed trend , each Visa officer follows his / her own.
Having said that, looking at your timeline, I hope you should get is soon

Does it mean that file has been viewed by Visa officer and sent for back ground check??

Note: I have neither sent any Police Certificate with my application nor they asked for it actually they have not asked for any document yet,

On Which Date did you raise CSE in November? And when LVO replied and whose initials were mentioned in email? Whether it was MCH or DRD?
Moreover, What is mentioned in you ECAS? And did you order GCMS Notes?
Background checks can include anything including job verification, marriage verification, birth certificate verification or any other document verification that you have provided with your application.
