Visa officer spent literally 10 seconds each on the docs. He was just confirming whether they were genuine or not. Interview lasted about 30-40 mins. I had to explain all my job duties - i must say it was pretty detailed. I would suggest you go through the NOC 1112 description and throw in some power words (e.g. financing scenarios, mergers & acquisitions, cash flows, investment advice etc etc).stevebbs said:HI
Did the officer look at each document , how long was the interview for , did they ask lot questions about job duties , ?
yes, something basic (e.g. what do you find challenging about the job). I think this is a just a side question to check whether I was a genuine case.stevebbs said:lol thanks , did he ask you any questins about the job ?

Great News, Congrats. All the best for your PPR.skhzskhz said:MEDICAL RECEIVED FOR 5 MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY INCLUDING ME, ALONG WITH /980 CAD RIGHT TO PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEES.
Those timelines are for the applicants who applied Before May 4th, 2013 (and after June 26, 2010). For 2013 applicants, it's still 12 months (which I am afraid can go up to maximum 18 months)lusully said:Typical, processing time has gone up to 27 months now!!!
For those who have been for interview this week, have the officer said how long the majority of processing will take?
Dear thanks for your update. Where did you attend? LVO?JohnnyZee said:Dear all. I have just returned from the embassy after the interview. It went well and was mainly focused on my job responsibilities (i.e. visa officer wanted to confirm my eligibility for 1112). He also asked for original degree certificates and updated PCCs which I produced. On timeline, he mentioned that they would send around Medicals/ RPRF within 2 weeks. Then it takes them up to 1 month to assess the medicals once you have done them. Passport request thereafter. Visa stamping could take up to 4 weeks (but less if you live in the UK). In best case scenario, I could have visa stamped by May/June.
Basically, it was a really good experience. Just keep smiling and be confident.
Good luck to the rest.
Is it first time you were raised CSE? otherwise when was last CSE, what was the reply?moncherie said:Hello Forumites,
