Yes it does appear that after the 18 months processing time update LVO is streamlining the times and these new backdated SLUs are part of that. Could be that they are not really very reliable indicators for MR and applicants might still have to wait further for work on their files to start.

hello everyone...

congrads to all of you who got SLU.... and I do pray that all of you get medical very soon....
but I was wondering why all of the sudden everyone getting SLU... it seems like an automatic system which generated SLU for everyone.... or is it the visa officer processed suddenly all of the applicants??? what is you view?

I have seen two users who also got slu update (back dated) within last 2 week and got medical after 8 and 12 days respectively (from the date of their slu got update in ecas). So it is total chaosand time will tell how the future proceeding will take place for lvo applicants.

Hi All, i think its just a system update. I also got a second line today just now stating that " We started processing your application on January 20, 2015". PER is 22nd Dec 2014 and application date is 5th Sept 2014

Mine 2LU is 7th August. MXH replied that fIle is in queue to be processed by visa officer.

I don't see medical coming any time soon.
