Hope you all are doing well. I have just got an email from LVO inviting me to attend "Free Orientation Session" offered by Canadian Immigrant Integration Program.

I would like to know what's it about and the status of my application in this scenario.

Hi. Do you know how long UKBA will take for the visa extension application and to return your passport? You need your passport for ID verification at the clinic (they might accept UK driving license and UKBA letter). If you are doing your medical next week, the clinic will take another 3 working days to submit the report through emedic. This will take you to end of Aug. normally bio page request will come 2 to 3 weeks (or more) after medical with 30 days time to submit. Based on this the earliest you need send your passport will be 3rd week of Sep and latest 3rd week of Oct. I think you should get your passport back from UKBA (hopefully). However do you have copy of you passport bio page?

Thanks for your reply. I already sent request to get back our passports based on our medical examination letter from Canada Immigration, Finger cross for that!!!! For medical examination, they allow to bring passport copy with Driving license.
Could you please advise me that shall we bring my daughter's passport here or Canada immigration will allow to do visa stamping in India for my daughter?

Second question, If we withdraw our UKBA application and go to India after Immigration office will allow us to do visa stamping in India or not?

First of all congratulations. Secondly email I'd is canmedpk@iom.int, and call centre no. Is 051-111466-472. It is better to make a call early morning to get a appointment instead of waiting their reply for next 24 hour. It's my suggestion only.

It will take X-Number of Days.
X-is an unknown variable in mathematics. Specially when your application is in LVO-Equation.
Mathematically we can say:-
Application in LVO=MR after X-Number of days of PER+ PPR after Y-Number Days of MR

Total No of Days(T) for issuance of visa in LVO:-
T = X + Y + Z
Here Z is the balance number of days after PPR for issuance of Visa.

Researchers are still working to find out the exact values of unknown variables X,Y and Z.
But uptill now there are only assumptions exisiting therefore no definite answer is available.

In LVO ... Approximately, After how many months/days the second line updated after we receive our PER email ... that says, We have started processing your application ? ? ?

for me, it took about ten months. Other cases take less time.

hi all,

i have send my application as sponsor on may 30th 2015. yesterday i received a letter form cic that my application is approved and that my file is transfered to London visa office. when i checked y online status it says " We received your application to sponsor null wife name June 8, 2015". why NULL is written before her name? also the processing time i checked for London visa office is 28 months, does it really take that long?

Congratulations khurramrizvi for your MR, definitely it is a sigh of relief in this long waiting process. Mubarak ho.

For booking your appointment, you have to contact IOM Islamabad via the email or telephone (I think you already have both of them). You must tell them that you want to book your 'Screening' at Lahore, and they will give you your date for IOM Lahore center.
