Any idea how much long would it take for PPR after Third Line update ?

I guess within a month but to be honest everything is unpredictable with LVO. BTW when did you get your PER?

Why so many apps waiting from Sep/Oct whereas Nov/Dec apps are getting MR.

LVO is very unpredictable in this regard. There are many August & September applicants in waiting que while on the other hand November & December applicants are getting MRs. This factor seriously undermines their policy of first come first serve the applications. I personally feel that they made some security verification and as they get clearance report, they start further proceeding of the application regardless of order of applications they received. That is way, my perception is becoming stronger day by day that the applicants applied from outside Pakistan are dealing in a quick way than the people applied from Pakistan. Although at some spot it negates but mostly this trend is going on.

I am November 13, 2014 Applicant, Lebanese, applied from Dubai , UAE
NOC: 0113 (Procurement Manager)
I recieved my PER on February 5, 2015.

As of today there is no 2nd line update and no MR (Medical Request).

I have seen some November 13, 2014 applicants already recieving MR from LVO.

What might be the issue? What is the process of background security check? do they contact UAE and Lebanon police?

There is no activity with the applicant of RFI. Where is He/She? Please wake up.

I actually don't agree on this. I can give you an example of my case. I am not from Pakistan. I have ordered GCMS and they have put my application as Put Away with next review date as 30/06/2015. They have not started any security clearance for my file as per GCMS. So, i feel that it has nothing to do with nationality and country we are from. its just purely random picking and the based on the mood of Visa officer handling the case.

All, let's be professional for a minute and not let frustrations lead opinions. There have been many examples of applicants that have flown through the process, from all over the country,and the proof is in this forum, just take out the time and go through page by page and you will see answers there. In my opinion there are several variables/factors that determine the speed of an application and there is no definitive answer. My thoughts are bulleted below;

1. Consistency of information in application
2. length of time it take to verify information
3. Response times from other countires
4. Nr of CSE's an individual has made
5. Productivity of the officer.

Applications that are easier for LVO to complete are ones that they home in on as they are quicker and it reduces the remaining number as I'm sure they have measured targets.

In all of this you must remain patient and ensure that in the meantime you are doing whatever you can to wind down.

Hope this helps. There is no point in getting frustrated within and outside this forum, as it changes nothing.
