Hello Bros/sis,
I am an August 25 applicant LVO NOC 1111 and received PER on 12/12/2014. I have a question:
What is GCMS notes? what kind of information does it provide? how can i get it?
Thanks in advance
Dear
GCMS stands for 'Global Case Management System' and is adopted by CIC as a new computer system to maintain case history. GCMS/CAIPS notes can be obtained from CIC only if you have already submitted your application to CIC for permanent residence in Canada and
- there is a long delay since you submitted your application
- your application got refused and you don't know the exact reason
- you want to know why your interview is scheduled / officer's comments
- check if any breakup of communication occured.
- know previous case issues before re-submission / re-apply.
How to apply : Unfortunately you cannot request a copy of your GCMS/CAIPS notes by yourself directly from CIC if you don't live in Canada. Therefore, we can apply for your GCMS / CAIPS notes on your behalf.
