OK while i am waiting impatiently for my MR request, a certain thought came to my mind.

I want to ask all the seniors of 2013 like Msaeed, Mish, Maria-Sal, Owais Iqbal, etc (whoever gets the time to respond) to please explain the behaviour / treatment or specific tendencies of London Visa officers against their given initials according to your experience. Since i have applied for the first time, so i only know very few initials of London Visa officers. Please add as many Initials of Visa officers as you wish.

Trust me, this will help the aspiring and awaiting London Visa office applicants to forecast their future visa processing timelines.

Attitude: Meticulous : Had to wait for nearly a year after the PR to get the UDR !
very professional: Responds to Emails whenever there is something to be mentioned.

Documents matter a lot !! whenever there is an ambiguity or outstanding document, S/He will opt for further documents (mostly) no interviews

Background checks VS medical : Requested the Medical when the BG checks were about to come to an end.

They are essentially:
Criminal background: it can involve queries beyond arrest and disposition records, such as into whether any law enforcement body is conducting an investigation or the individual is a suspect or has known connections to those known to be involved in criminality

Security background : involves queries into intelligence sourced databases, and other government security databases, which might reveal activity or ties related to organized crime, terrorist organizations, suspect military history)
Some clearances are not done by CIC, but by referral to the respective government body and third parties

Mine is KKB , i think he does the BG and SC before the MR .. because he requested additional documents & police clearance from me 4 months ago and till now i didn't receive MR and he also did not update my ECAS with 2nd line yet..

Received MR,RPRF,PCC,updated schedule A request in June from KKB. Needful done in mid of July, since then no news. Most likely BG and security checks are in process.

Two quick questions

1. Do we need to send medical slips to VO ??
2. Do we send the physical copy of PCC to the address included in email with the signature of VO ??

1. No. however it's advisable to keep them in your records
2. PCCs need to be originals and sent to the VO office by mail, (advisable by courier) - always request confirmation for the receipt of documents by the attending VO

DM made two days back on ECAs while no email received yet for PPR2 ! Let hope for good !

I have also received just pcc request with passport bio pages and updated info chart from lvo.

This is not ppr or mr. I think lvo is working a bit differently for some applicants. They are doing secondary checks prior to background checks.

Any how after this InshAllah we will get Mr and our processing will be faster. Good luck
