Thank you, luqi! Let's talk in Viber later. I'm at work now and can't use Viber.
I was interviewed in AUH by a male officer who came from London.
He said that they wanted to make sure if I'm really qualified and my profession matches my NOC (2147). He reminded me to be honest and answer truthfully. Questions are: (1) Can you discuss to me your educational background? (2) when did you start working? (3) what do you do in your job? (4) how do you interact with your clients? (5) and a lot more about my work experience.
MAIN QUESTION - WORK EXPERIENCE: Mainly his questions are about the details of my work experiences. I answered them truthfully and he was focused to me eventhough his typing everything that I said. No repetitive questions or anything. No making faces. It feels like I'm just talking to my colleague. I don't think he is a technical person or knowledgeable with NOC2147 because whenever I say technical terms like CISCO, he will ask me again (maybe to type it correctly in the system).
CANADA RELATED QUESTION: He asked if I have a job or prospect company in Canada. I just said as of now none but I'm trying my luck in the internet by sending my CVs to different job banks. He asked if how sure I am if I will be able to find a job in Canada. I answered that I'm sure even non-IT companies in Canada uses a computer and needs a technical support.
I asked him how long the process will take. He said that he is not responsible for the whole processing of my application and he is not updated of the steps that I still need to go thru. On his part, he will clear me in the NOC and background check. I brought with me my police clearance.
I'M SO HAPPY!
