today i got reply from KB in response of enquiry:

your file is currently undergoing background checks...you are requested to allow four months for us to process your application...if we donot contact you in four months,you may contact us for upodate....

we appreciate your patience during this process


i m very depressed as i was expecting PPR1 in response of enquiry as 2.5 months are passed after medical done....and RPRF DD is also encashed ON 20 AUGUST.....then why this delay????

Just an update from my side, not sure whether some one else has received this before. Could you please give your opinions on the email i just received from Visa officer
:
We require the following within 20 days of the date of this email for further processing of this application.
-Updated Information Chart, please see attached (requiring details of passport,eye colour, height, native language etc.)
-Updated Passport Bio-page copies for you and your family members.

Also, i need to take one more advice from you guys

They have asked for the copies of the passport. Since our medicals are done i got my British nationality as well so i have got Pakistani passport and British passport whereas my Spouse who is the main applicant still applying for the passport next week although she has already been naturalised as British citizen and received the certificate of natualised british citizen

The question is should i inform them that main applicant is applying for british nationality which she will get in 6 weeks

The reason why i am asking this is because i know for Britsh nationals they are not asking for Passport since it is visa free and issuing some sort of letter

Now would it impact on their decision if the main applicant has applied for British nationality while their Canadian application for PR is still in progress?

Also, i need to know if it is PPR1, does it mean that all our background checks have completed or there are still going on?

One of my friend who is British citizen got the similar email but also a request for photos and once they submitted the information, they got the status changed as decision made and we will inform you in 6 weeks

Should we submit them our original country's passport copy now and wait for their next stage passport request and tell them at that time regarding our dual nationality or should we tell them about my British passport and my spouse naturalisation and passport application now? I am just concerned whether it would impact their decision?

is their any one in the forum who is dual national and got their Canadian PR ?

2. and by the way is there any harm in getting FRC?. Some times it takes a month , as in case if correction in data base of any family member is required it takes time

So decision is yours

and (i think) they are digging deep using US Database, as you know US and Canada share information regarding immigration and visa matters and Canada seeks "HELP" from US for "digging deep"

Thank you for this valuable piece of information.
How ever be informed that detailed / extensive security checks are triggered / chosen by random picking of cases . Its pure luck.
US and Canada share common data base , where as UK & EU has common data base , and for rest of the world Singapore Data base is used.

Every individual is checked through all data bases , if some one is stuck - Its hard luck , and is mainly due to the common names and similar date of births that match with black listed lots.

In order to settle this in 1990 Govt of Canada and US has donated 3 Billion to Pakistan to set up NADRA , and is on lines of "Additional Family Information Form " that we have filled for Canada , and this information is required by UK , USA and Australia now a days.

FRC , termed as Family Tree ,was earlier required by Denmark Embassy for visa issuance , and I got this from Islamabad.

Now NADRA is expanding this , and by 2016 all embassies / consulates / high commissions will require this

msaeed bro, Getting FRC is not a big problem for me. i've worked in NADRA my ex-colleague can give me in 5 mins. It's only a matter of CTRL+P for them. My Point is, whether it is FAMILY REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE or FURTHER REVIEW & CONSULTATION. The 2nd meaning is more likely as ZN said.

NADRA is to issue now Smart cards for kids which will be having different features including Child immunization record. This chip based smart card will contain child photo and all other details which will help Pakistani expatriates a lot.

"Meanwhile, Nadra Chairman Tariq Malik said the chip-based Smart Identity Card for the children will offer multi-dimensional usage and services, health, educational, social and financial inclusion programmes. The new card for children shall be capable of holding applications and data from the health, education and social sector such as vaccination records, academic records and polio registrations, he added."

No problems dear, sometimes like my case it took 4 months (more or less) just keep yourself busy for a while and be sure its a matter of time.
