Received GCMS notes today.

Nothing special. Same old notes except There is a new note "FRC Required" and at one place there is a label created 09/06/2014 **NOC 2147 File Held with DRS** Label is eligibility. someone can please comment what do they mean by FILE HELD

my friend who used to work in atomic energy and had one year of unemployment, he has got the medical and PCC request after 8 month.

I dont know more about your case, but if you have something similar in your case than might be a reason for delay.

FRC means further review and consultation required and DRS may be a department or person in CIC..

Oh i thought they will be asking for family registration certificate.

i have applied in FSW14 my app reached on 25 may 2014, going thru this thread i saw that applicants frm FSW13 are still waiting for MR can u guide me regarding the timeline for pakistani applicants. thank you

yah LVO candidates are waiting for MR & VISA ! Normally LVO takes time for more workload & time taking security clearance of few countries. For safe side you have to wait 1.5 year once submitted application to CIC.

nothing to worry about here..... DRS is the person who completes documents checking and send the file to the VO..... he highlights if there is any loophole in file....

FRC means further review and consultation required and DRS may be a department or person in CIC..

Yes you are right.. i believe its all our work experience and documentation to prove it, is the main concern of eligibility.. and once the eligibility is clear they issued the medical and started other processes regarding criminality and security checks and as a whole they called this background checks. Normally, our file is reviewed by two visa officers, what i think is in your case is your file reviewed and pass on to the other visa officer for further review or both visa officer has assessed your file and Commented FRC required means consultation with some other office, may be Islamabad CHC (may be for some verifications) once its done.. you receive your visa with in no time.. it's all my personal thinking.. don't be serious on this.. however, i pray for quick processing of all members including me ;D

Get FRC as soon as possible.

If you are married you will be required to submit 3 FRCs

1. By Birth - For your family
2. By Birth - For Your spouse family
3. By marriage

I am sure that there are concerns about your family member , and in order to clarify this , they need FRC , the only authentic document to show family members , as some time name conflict creates issues , they need to clarify this

i dont think so they've hidden something. Security screening is in the sub activity and no status no end start date with this
