You are doing great job by updating all the information but I think now we have better sheet on excel (prepared by Rfarooqi) which gives more better visualization and quick information at a glance. It is well prepared and the best thing it is in ascending order which allows us to have a better idea about time frame.
With all due respect, It's my suggestion we should focus on that sheet rather updating on the page.

Samar, both sheets are good to go, as new bees don't know about signature links in most cases, so attraction for new bees is the Table, i hope you ll get my point.

I am also an london visa office candidate. could you share some light on following information.
We recently done our medical and got ok response from the DMP. my question is what is the next step?
we were asked to do medical, send new background declaration form, canadian immigration form, police report and visa fee.
Do you think they have performed our background check? if not how long do you think we still need to wait ?
we normally lived in two country in uk and nepal during the 10 years period and once i was in congo for few month?
our visa office is London.

Hi Lost,

I only know that they continue background checks even after medical submitted, because I received their email about background checks after I submitted medicals. If you already sent all updated docs and fees, then there will be no more actions required before passport submission unless your pcc/meds expire. They however may contact you if you have gaps in your personal history to ask about them.
Nobody can tell exactly when they will finish, but I personally aim at 4-5 months from medical date judging by the experience of other members.
