By emailing LVO at LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca , they will tell you 'Background checks are ongoing' - in the case security screening is going on and 'Your file is awaiting review by immigration officer' in the case the report has been sent by CBSA basically background checks will be completed and security will be passed by officer when he picks up the file.
thanks bro..my security check started on July 29, 2019 according to Ralph..should I wait for at least six months from that date before mailing LVO? because i have heard that it takes at least six months for completion

Yes, you should email after 6 months have passed while being in SS.

Guys, Below is my timeline

CRS - 472 | ECA - Masters| ITA - 5th Sep 2018 | STREAM - FSW(Outland) | AOR - 17th Sept 2018 | RPRF - Upfront | Married : 13th Oct 2018 | Added Spouse : 29th Oct 2018| Medicals PA : 9th Sep 2018 | Medicals Spouse :20th Oct 2018 | Furtherance Medicals(Sputum Test) : 15th Jan 2019 | GCMS Received - June 2019 | VO - London | ADR - None | GCMS2 (Ordered) - 12th Aug 2019 | PPR: 21st OCT

I received my PPR email on 21st Oct, I had initially applied from Dubai. Now i had moved back to India and sent a request to the Visa office stating that my address has been changed and asking me to allow to submit my passport in India VFS.

May i know if anyone was in similar situation and how long did it take for the Visa office to respond back with the updated letter ?

I just discovered my VO is London after receiving an ADR! They requested for a police clearance for my country of birth (haven't lived there continuously for 6 months within the last 10 years so i had not provided one with my application) and my divorce certificate (i provided so not sure exactly what they are asking). Anybody has an idea at what stage is my application?

So even after three weeks after IP2, if ppr is not received, does that mean most probably the file has moved to Security Screening. Any inputs regarding this.
yes, this is true for sheer number of cases currently undergoing different types of security checks in London Visa Office and hence likely be interpreted in this way...

Bro, the point is that they would want us to keep correspondence to minimum otherwise there wouldn't be any reply...

I believe the longest part of the tiresome wait has already gone and each day we are getting closer to final approval...as @Shahanastar said it's super frustrating...well yes, it really is, but it's about to get over based on its stipulated timeframe

Got reply from LVO, and it's the same as previous ones that background checks in progress no updates and no documents required.
It was second email and raised a Webform only after the completion of 6 months... Following the minimum correspondence policy..
Not sure how long this background checks are going to take...I wish there was a real timeline for the process. So tired of waiting....:(
