Thank you for the reply. I ordered the notes anyway. Lets see1) In general, the review means regular rounds of review by officer, but what makes it different though is the status of criminality, eligibility and security on file given medical is already passed.
the review can be final if all assessments are complete or requiring officer's review to get complete
the review can be intermediate, if other statuses are yet to be determined.
nobody can tell you about pending review meaning unless they know the exact status of your file in terms of both eligibility and admissibility checks.
2) Ordering GCMS is a way to convert ambiguity to clarity especially when there is an unusual delay and other sources of information indicating not-so-good status on file, the rest is up to you.
I cannot provide guidance as for the last point.

Well that's confusing. i sent en email in june and received reply in 5 days that they recently received my file and its in queue for officer's review so they can't give any update. Basically they didn't open my file by that time. Now in your case they replied almost after 3 months so it could be anything initial review or a final one God knows. I did. Exactly the same. But they replied to my email after couple of monthsGuys got this response today.

What is a CSE?Guys got a reply thru cse.. eligibility passed.. criminality and security not started yet.. aor 12 feb.. can anyone tell whts going on?
Lots of us have found out various statuses from the gcms notes or by emailing Ralph. But it seems like there is a queue for the final review. No one really knows how long this queue is or when your file will be reviewed.
We at 12th Dec 2018 aor and still waiting for an outcome.

CSE is case specific enquiry.. not sure how authentic is their reply.. is there anyone here, who passed eligibility but crim n sec not started?What is a CSE?
