Hi even I got the same response few months back ...It actually dosen't mean you are in ss.. It means it will take little longer to work on your file.First find out if you have passed eligibility and your security started via notes.. if your eligibility not started ignore this msg from LBM as you are not in ss for sure.. if eligibility passed and also security started may be there are chances of SS ... But to my knowledge your file is not opened yet.

I had same scenario got my PPR now..
AUG 11,2017 AOR got ppr exactly after a year on AUG 16TH 2018...file was not touched until July 31st 2018.

Thanks man for stimulating my spirits. As per Ralph Goodale's email, I have passed Eligibility and Security is in Process. But I also think that my file has not been touched after Eligibility review.

Can you tell me when did you receive this response?

I need a bit of a help here.

I have received a PPR and my medical is expiring on 6th of October and I won't be able to travel to Canada before the end of the year.

If I submit passport will CIC give me a 6-month visa? If so, will I need a valid medical result at the airport?

Many thanks in advance!

In my case my profile status changed to you passed the medical exam from you do not need medical (medical already expired JULY 5TH)...just before PPR so i believe they would have extended ... I will know the exact time they have extended only after copr..I have submitted my passports.

Your can mail and check or submit the passports only then you will know.

pls did you have to redo medicals considering the fact that your application took over a year and as such your medicals must have expired by the time you got PPR

No I dint have to redo medicals...According to my profile status change I believe they have reevaluated my medicals and issued PPR.

Can someone please explain that and anyone ever got that kind of a response? how long it can take to get a passport request from here?

"Your application is awaiting final review by an officer and you will be contacted further in due course"

Thanks.

Yup there have been plenty of people on this forum in the past who have had a response like this. It means that you're nearing your PPR.
