Yes. It changed to NA on Feb 27. Before that it was we donot need additional documents.

At least you guys can see the changes, I can't even do that as I applied through a representative. Though, my GCMS revealed a telling story that my file was gathering dust at the LVO since it was transferred there in July. It was only worked on once in December when the eligibility was changed to passed. And since then there's nothing that has been done on it. There's a random date of 20/02/18 but I don't even know what they did on it then. Infact, I don't even know when it was sent for security check. I've really had enough this crap and wanna take some action to get visibility on the mater.

Well i dont think it would help, they know how their officers work and they have a lot of backlog to cover, plus alot of nationalities. And i believe it is something with our cases, not with the officer. Already many of May 2017 applicants have got ppr, some of them issued by same officer. So its our case what is delaying us. This is what i have understood so far.
My view is exactly the same.

Dont get worried, bro. It is only the matter of time. We will get it soon Insha'Allah

Honestly speaking, I can't see anything extraordinary in my case other than I have an extensive travel history. Apart from that it was pretty much straight forward. Lived in 2 countries all my life and never got involved in anything questionable.

People with more complicated cases and even the family cases have received PPR way before us. So there has to be a reason why they're holding back our files, which they should clarify instead of keeping us in the dark.

What is your timeline mate?
Do you also get the same reply from DRD everytime you asked?

DRD 1st response in Jan was File being reviewed by an officer and it seems that the officer decided to send my file for SS as the second response in March was File is under going BGC

This happens when your file is PARKED, and it can happen to anyone. The file remains Parked until a certain date then it is picked up again. May be the date on your notes is that one. Who knows!
Keep your spirits high. Things will sort out InshAllah.

Loool I swear this officer has got issues. I got exactly the same reply as you that my file is with the immigration officer in Jan and Feb. Then in March, it got changed to "your file is going through a routine background check".

I've heard that parked files says parked somewhere in GCMS notes. I didn't see anything like that in mine.

I think something in the file triggerd the SS request. Could be nationality, travel history or something else...For a long time I doubted I'm in SS but now it's quiet clear. I just hope it doesn't take a year

Maybe I'm wrong but I still have a strong gut feeling that I'm not in SS. And especially after seeing notes, I'm more adamant that I'm not. It's just a matter of the officer not working on my file that's causing delay.

I reckon, our files are in the same batch with this DRD case analyst loool.

Yaar it is your own view that your file doesnt have anything. May be the officer finds something and that is why you are late for ppr. I also have travel history plus work experience in a war-zone country. This is why i believe my file is stuck for a year now

But this doesnt clarify that you are in ss. Any/every file is under background check sometime or the other.
Did you order gcms?

From the response, your file has been assigned to a visa officer and luckily that officer has opened your file but review not completed yet. Once the review completes it will go to next level checks.
