Does anyone know if there's a link between medical expiry/request and movement on a file? I am really hoping that when my medical expires (April 12th) it could trigger some progress. I have had complete silence on my application since AOR 1 Nov. I'm wondering if they would maybe request a new medical and then uploading the document will make them start working on my file. I have noticed those who submit ADR or upload new info get PPR. This silence from LVO is really unbearable.

Hi Bill,

Every time i contact LVO this is the response i get.

Your application is undergoing additional background checks. Unfortunately, these checks cannot be expedited and are not conducted by the London office.

We urge you to keep correspondence to a minimum so that our office can focus on processing applications.

Rest assured, we will be in touch when further action or documentation is required from you.

Regards,

VCM

Your file is going through Security Screening

I would like to request you guys to report the department from where you are getting replies from London Visa Office. There is a code word used for each department such as:
- EXP (Immigration and Medical Services Division)
- VCM (Program Assistant)
etc.

I found an interesting pattern of files moving through departments and need to confirm this through the larger sample of files. So, kindly update here with Department and Status of your file.

Thanks in advance.
The first response I got from LVO was on 29.Jan from DRD/ Program Assitant who mentioned my file is being reviewed by an immigration officer and to keep correspondence to minimal. On 20th Feb I recieved an ADR for Schedule A from the Medical and Immigration section / High Commision Cana. No signature

I am doing a little bit of research and found files are moving to certain departments. However, this is just an initial review and may not be accurate.

When the file is not opened most of the applicants receive a message from Immigration and Medical Services Division (or mostly from EXP) and this is the case for most of the Change in Information cases as well.

When a file is opened and is with analyst the replies will start to come from Program Assistants (or mostly VCM) and this is the case for most of the additional documents cases as well.

When a file is undergoing background or security checks by LVO the reply starts to come from Program Assistants (or mostly DRD) and this is the case for Data Release Cases as well.

For other departments, I need more research and Finally, I can't find exact names of the abbreviations used by the Visa Office.

These are initial understanding and I am trying to come with things that are more accurate.
2 weeks ago I got a reply from DJM saying it was awaiting further review. I got another reply still from DJM on Monday

We are still reviewing your application – there have been no further requests from us. We will, of course, contact you if we need any further information.

Kind regards,

Those who receive a message from Client Service Unit (CSU) are you an FSW applicant or PNP. The trend shows most FSW applicants whose file is not started receive a reply from CSU while PNP applicants receive a reply from Immigration and Medical Services Division (IMSD).
I am PNP but got reply from SNO or Client Service Unit

Any idea what all these responces mean?
Being Reviewed vs Awaiting Final Review vs Awaiting to be Reviewed...Is there an average time scale to receive a PPR related to each response ?
